Morning chaps. What a win that was. I sank a few beers after watching that... couldn't sleep after :) credit to Sheff U, they came out hard and rattled us a bit but goodness me what a response, especially given no Manager on the sidelines and losing our capt in the run up to the game... that made it even more special. They're a very good team these boys of ours... incredible belief, workrate, mentality and ability. Sheff U couldn't maintain they're start, weren't good enough to do so. Our subs were superb, there's not so, Bogle and James ran Hamer ragged when he came on.
Oh and i'd offer Firpo a new deal if we haven't already, not saying he's brilliant at PL level (if we get there, not counting chickens yet etc) but he's more than useful in the squad. He looks a much better player under Farke. Thought he deserved the MOM.
One fly in ointment is Ampadu injury, Farke says may need an Op. Need to pray no other CB's get injured... not going in for one in Jan now looks very risky given Wober's injury record.
