| [quote="tad rhino":3tec74lq]he said if a player served a ban last year for an offence why should he get points this year for the same offence. the player is being punished twice.
and he is correct.[/quote:3tec74lq]
Blindingly obvious double jeopardy to everyone except the RFL it appears. That these regs have got this far into the public domain without anyone pointing this out is incredible, because surely if someone had they'd have already addressed this. But then, this is the RFL. They really don't help themselves.

Thdidn't enter the new year with a clean record and attempting to mirror this would seem appropriate to me. Burgess whining because his team is an ill-disciplined rabble isn't a good reason to change anything.

| Been really busy with work and so on so not had time to get any updates from my source until today.
So we definitely want to bring Watkins in but apparently don’t have a lot of cap to play with which is a bit of a surprise considering we released 10 players and only brought in 5 this offseason but suppose you have to take into consideration of players getting upgraded contract extensions etc but it also highlights some of our squad are on a fair chunk on money.
Hetherington & Blease are pushing for the Watkins deal as 50k of Watkins salary would be payed by the RFL and he also boosts our back row options but we’ll have to see what comes of the Salford situation in the near future.
The Harvey Livett deal seems to have fallen through as the club is prioritising getting Watkins in.
And finally It wouldn’t be a Leeds pre season with injury concerns or worries been told the following.
O’Connor out til Round 3-6
Edgell out indefinitely with broken jaw
Ned McCormack & Ben Littlewood knocks in training not sure on the severity.
Jake Connor knock in training but should be fine to play this weekend
Miller looking to return to play between round 1-2
We’d have to have the worst luck in the world if all 3 of our fullback options are injured at the same time.
