| [quote="Clearwing":2wyc57kb]Salford will be needing replacements for the likes of sneeeyd. Is there a case for sinfield helping out for a season?[/quote:2wyc57kb] I think he'd be better going to a competitive championship club, rather than a SL club shorn of its best players, that could get battered each week. Although he might get good defensive experience!!!

| I remember we got good service from Oledzki and Hallas our meltdown in 2017. It's not the greatest environment for young impressionable players though. I agree that they'd be better at a competitive championship club that has systems in place. I'd suggest York as somewhere ideal for Sinfield.

| Castleford Tigers, Huddersfield Giants, Hull FC, Leigh Leopards, Wakefield Trinity and Warrington Wolves are all thought to have cap space, but the rest are thought to have no room to budge.
As reported on Leeds Live.

Fair point though the championship approach has hardly been an unmitigated success either.

| With regards to Salford's current financial predicament and the fact that Paul Rowley has already announced that 2025 will be his final season as head coach at the club before he then takes up the role of "Director of Rugby" from 2026
As this is a rumours thread, Could I ask if anyone else thinks that Rowley will take over the head coaching role at Leeds once Brad Arthur leaves? (potentially/probably at the end of the 2025 season)
Seems nailed on to me
