As 2025 is upon us and the new season will be here in no time, thought for a bit of fun i'd put something on here for predictions next season for players and teams, something along the lines of: [b:20139l0b]Teams to Beat[/b:20139l0b] Wigan and Hull KR for me.. it would be nice if anyone other than Wigan or Saints could win it, but these two look like they will take some beating again. KR have recruited very well again and Rhyse Martin will make them even better. [b:20139l0b]Surprise Team[/b:20139l0b] I think Wakey might surprise a few this season and go better than expected. [b:20139l0b]Most improved player for Leeds[/b:20139l0b] Frawley - i think he will be much better next season. [b:20139l0b]Player most excited to see[/b:20139l0b] Sivo - fingers crossed he settles well and stays fit. Real Xfactor player. [b:20139l0b]Bottom of the pile[/b:20139l0b] Cas - will be tight but i think they could well finish below Wakey - also expect Salford and Hull FC to be down the bottom end. [b:20139l0b]Leeds finishing position[/b:20139l0b] 5th. i think we make the playoffs. Maybe get to the semi finals with a favourable wind and some injury luck. Salford Salford bottom only because they seem about to be plundered by other clubs and I've seen how this can sap the energy out of clubs. They will start ok with a siege mentality but things will fall away pretty quick as they lose their best players. Not convinced Hull will do any better than last year. Rapana has apparently got himself injured in training. Cas, Wakefield and Hudders are interchangeable. Leeds I think will improve but it takes time to build a competitive squad so they won't start to challenge for top for four a year .
