I thought I read somewhere he'd been brought in as a 'middle' but I could be wrong. I don't really think you can compare the two players which is why I didn't.i was just responding to the post above mine. I'd keep martin but I'm not bothered about king.

Good luck to King he was brought in as a cheap gamble, hes not let us down and been good around the club. If he wants and can get more game time at Salford i dont blame him at all.

I still wouldn’t be surprised if Martin left too. I think several other clubs in SL would look at him and I’d imagine again we signed him on chunky money originally.

Overall the club is getting this right; if we believe in the youth then we need to promote youth. I think the club is looking for quality now in senior signings rather than just able bodies.

I've posted loads of times i really don't see the point in retaining Martin.We need more front rowers not back rowers.

It's not the end of the world King going. He's done decent as a squad player, but not a world beater. The issue is a replacement. The market is definitely short of decent props, so we need to be savvy in bringing someone in.

I'd like to see a genuine impact prop come in. Mik, Prior and Zane call do big minutes, so we don't really need someone in the same role. Someone who will come and be a wrecking ball for 20-25 mins a match would be ideal!

Does this mean King has left the building?
