As far as funding goes I understand the council are debating which services to cut this week. IF they cut domestic abuse provision, child services and help for the elderly sufficiently, they hope they can find the money to give to Caddick's company so Caddick's other company can be given a healthy contract to build an "iconic" downsized rugby ground with no atmosphere and an "iconic" cricket ground that can continue to attract crowds of up to 8,000 for the annual May tests against Sri Lanka
I’m told that the building in the north west corner where they used to house the security and first aider room below is the next thing to be demolished. Not sure what that’ll mean as a whole.
