With the quality of the league at the moment, we are not at a sufficient level to support a Top Eight Play Off system.
Consider how inconsistent Leeds have been for most of the season and yet, up until the last couple of weeks (had they strung a few wins together) they could have been as high as THIRD !
We need to take a step back and look at something like the Macintyre Final Five system as something for the way forward.
Only then will the regular round games take on more meaning.
