On Friday 28th September on the manicured lawns of Wellington Place in the heart of Leeds City Centre will host the inaugural City Touch Rugby Tournament.
The tournament is hoped to be an annual event and is sponsored by property developers MEPC, on behalf of Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice and is being back / endorsed by the RFL.
Companies such as DTZ, PWC, Begbies Traynor, Towers Watson and RSM Tenon have already entered teams and with the hope of being crowned Leeds Touch Rugby Champions.
All teams have ten players in their squads, with six on the field at any one time. The pace is hectic so there will be lots of roll on roll off substitutions to keep legs fresh.
