However, you are correct that Wigan Athletic AFC would not have a new stadium to play in if it wasn't for Wigan Rugby.

The actual answer is no. Away fans sit in the North Stand as per the rugby, and have done for the last 4 years.

They'll also need less dolls than Wigan RL to fill the stadium.
