Two more SL clubs to bite the dust for definite, can't see many potential shocks. Seven left including us if we all get through, all up for grabs.

Definitely favourable considering the potential alternatives.

Although its an excellent draw for us (all home ties are) Why do the RFL continue to make themselves look total fools !!Before anyone says it i don't believe in conspiricy(sp) theories and like because i don't think the people running the game have enough intelligence to be able to 'fix' anything.
The paying public (us) wants/needs to know who they have drawn by watching/listening to a live draw as has been the norm for years and years and what do the RFL do? cloak everything in secrecy so nobody can hear /see the draw live but let info tricle out via electronic media and apparently there going to show a highlights package tonite on look north....Who gives a toss about that we as fans should know straight away

our last meeting was in challenge cup in 2006 in the 4th round where they beat us at the shay

2005 for that Challenge Cup game.

2007 for the league, we won both games.

Think castleford will win by at least 18 points.Big gulf between superleague and national league.Think you probably have a 1.3 million gap where as halifax got 400,000.

Another interesting stat is that WE HAVE NEVER BEATEN HALIFAX IN THE CHALLENGE CUP. EVER.

Great draw this allthough we are not likely to win. Im happy with it for 3 reasons.

1 Love a trip to Cas Vegas and the crack with the cas fans

2 Should be a good crowd so a good payday for the club

3 Good test for our lads.

With me living in fax, i was hoping for fax at fax but hey bit of banter with some freinds from fax should be good. Girlfriend is from fax originally but, didnt really watch rugby before and now is a true cas follower, wonder which side her bread will be buttered this time tho

We have a lad in our group who is from Pontie and all his family support Cas will be a good laugh with them.
