As a Leeds fan I thought they were both Ok but there was never a clear cut replay which showed it so it's hard to criticise the ref. Someone on our forum claims to have been in line and thought they were both forward.

The answers are always included in refereeing tests. You don't make up your own rules, you use the answers provided. If you'd ever been an actual referee you'd have known that.

So Chase is running forward he passes the ball on the 10 metre line - the catcher catches the ball 5 metres from the line but Chase is 4 metres from the line when he pass is caught - how is that not a forward pass?

It's the momentum he had when he passed the ball. Now, for your scenario, if he was sprinting forward at something like 25 m/s...then he would be in the Olympics, not in RL.

it was a typical case of kick them when they are down, after coming so close at saints and sadly we got silverwood against leeds i think it stood out that we was not going to go in at half time with a lead or even level, and the way it worked out in the 1st half, silverwood not for the first time, destroyed our confidence mentally and throughout the 2nd half it was more of a physical thing. it is about time the officials got called in front of the disciplinary like the players do and got fined or banned for their offences, ie; bentham at saints with the wrong tackle counts for instance, he could be forgiven for the odd one but not 3,4, or 5, so questions should be asked why has it only gone against castleford and not saints, and similar with silverwood, pulls castleford for 2 forward try scoring passes in quick time, then leeds go down the field and score from one, but thats ok. not saying we would have won but its favouritim with out a doubt.

You see the thing is you are talking about a ref who Leeds players have been so frustrated at they have publicly called him out and had an on going fude with him for a few seasons! This is the ref who bent the rules so much In melbournes favour against Leeds in the world club the players and coaching staff were outraged.

Silverwood hates Leeds. Not because he's a bent ref! But because he has a massive ego and senior and other players told him so to his face and the media. If there is one ref other than child who hammers Leeds it's silverwood.

how nice to see you mention the melbourne game, cos thats exactly how leeds have been playing ever since and get away with things regularly, and to say silverwood hates leeds is absolutely hilarious, can remember when he absolutely battered hull kr at headingley in 2nd half cos they were in front at half time, could be here all day reminding you. have a look at how many games he has reffed since he started and how many games lost, interesting, very interesting, he loves leeds more than their lass.
