To be honest, the speed the Headingley ticket office works at, I'm amazed they've got through 1000 orders in the first week....

Not sure, but I will be taking the day off and camping out to get them
Fiancee just text me to say she's got mine. Didn't take her long either, probably less than half an hour

Word has it Wembley is a bit bigger than the Keepmoat.
I thought I wasn't going to be able to go to Wembley last year, but then plans changed and I got a ticket at about 7 days' notice.

| I hold my hand up here with the venue. Highly critical of the RFL ground choice, but they were right, I can't believe it isn't a sellout.
That's why they get paid lots of money to make these sort of decisions and I don't.

| I knew that this would be the case. It is just the way that it is with the Challenge Cup nowadays. People don't seem too keen for paying for anything other than their season tickets.
It will be a cracking atmosphere in a great stadium. Not as big as Huddersfield but definately better.

We only have 100 tickets left max. out of 6,000. If Leeds have done the same with their 7,000 there will only be about 1,500 left with the RFL (assuming they sold about half their allocation). It is a bit of a close call. If the stadium was located say in Wakefield, then i'm sure it would have been a sell out easily.

I'm sure a stadium 14 miles away from Donny would have attracted 60,000...easily...or even better the RFL could have a magic carpet of a stadium which can land equal distance between any 2 towns, and change its capacity to the exact number of tickets needed.

| Keepmoat was ideal for this fixture, looked good to see the stadium almost full - same old same old about fans over estimating how many fans they'll take.
Really enjoyed the game, Rangi will be dreaming about that drop goal miss
Pity they played the Lds Utd song near the end!!

| Need to sort out the logistics next time.
Traffic was horrendous. Playing at a venue with all the fans going in same direction is ridiculous.

| Traffic was fine for me. We set off at half eleven and was in the pub for 12. Drive home was simple too since I just went straight through the centre of Doncaster and up the empty A19.

We set off on club coaches from 1:15pm. Got on to A1, was queuing - managed to ease off then when we got to turn off for M18 hit loads of traffic from fans not knowing what lane to be in. Took us until 2:45pm to get to the ground. Had to have a Police escort for the coaches because it was just ridiculous.
Next time, take it to a ground where you can get the train instead........say, the Galpharm.

| Well that's pathetic Fully. The club know where Donny is, they knew of roadworks so why set off and be in the traffic when everyone else is? That's why I never use the coaches.

Come on Marshy, it was a struggle for the club to organise which numbers they were going to give the coaches until 12:59pm causing mass panic. Why they couldn't give each bus a number once they arrived I don't know.
Besides, you'd normally expect that 2 hrs 15 mins to travel 25 miles would be ample enough time usually.

| its only a 25 minute walk from doncaster train station. i work in leeds, and have often got off the train from work and walked straight to the keepmoat stadium (for either donny rovers or the dons night matches). often see away fans especially for the footy, who walk from train station and have a few pub stop offs on the way. im sure 25 minutes isnt too far a walk, and if it is, there is a bus service from the bus station next to the train station

| I thought the stadium was great, the view from the stands were good, and the facilities were fantastic. My only problem was finding somewhere to park. The police coordination of traffic was a shambles and only added to the complications. I don't think having a stadium in the middle of a retail/business park is a bad idea but the stadium needed its own car park and road in from the motorway. I set off before 1.00PM and only just made it into the ground in time.
I can only think that we are going to have the same problems when our new ground is built as I presume we will be using the main road in from the motorway as well as from the town centre. I would imagine a lot of fans will probably walk in from Cas though I suppose. It is bad enough on a weekend now trying to get to J32 retail outlet without adding the extra rugby traffic to it as well.

Can assure you mate it was. Started being patchy passed Darlington, then queued for around 2 miles upto the M18 junction and moved about 1/2 mile in 30 mins. Bottled necked at Junction 3 on the M18 and it's a good job we got a police escort as we wouldn't have got there.

Maths clearly isn't your strong point as 1:15 to 2:45 is 1 hr 30 mins.
