just finished watching it from record and managed to stay away from any reports as to make it feel live, congratulations to all it was a thorough enjoyable game and well deserved, I only wish we could only emulate half as much effort then we could think that our club is trying.

I hope you stay away from a Leeds in semi and get them in the final as I think it would make a quality final, good luck anyway

Congratulations today. Better team by a country mile, brilliant following backing up a brilliant performance. Good to see other teams now challenging for the trophies rather than the same old Wigan, wire, saints leeds every year. Hope you go on to win it. (Wigan fan).

Would just like to say a massive thanks for all the neutral support we seem to have had today and win aside I am just glad its a great game everyone is talking about and not a decision that went one way or another, it really is a good day to be a tiger.

Congrats to Cas - despite the dirty, niggling tactics from Wigan and constant bleating to the ref, the Tigers came out on top and continue on the road to Wembley!

Many thanks to all the Wigan and neutral fans who have posted kind words - it's appreciated and quite humbling.

I am really proud to be watching the best Cas 'team' in memory, no superstars, just a bunch of really hard working, good quality players who are clearly enjoying what they are doing and busting a gut for each other.

We are all as surprised as anyone else how this season has unfolded for us, but we've also seen more than enough to know that this Cas side is not only (arguably) the most entertaining team in SL, they won't lie down for anyone.

Born and bred in cas but lived in hull for 14 years and never been so proud to be a tiger. Went out in my brad davis number 7 shirt and had fans of both kr and fc congratulating me saying we are the best team they've seen this season. Just so good to be back to something like the good old days and not propping up the table. Classy cas

Wow. That is one of the best and most committed defensive efforts from a team I have ever seen. Fully deserved win despite Silverwood's best efforts. Hope you win it for ex Reds Jewitt and Dorn and will be nice if Sneyd comes back (if he does come back) with a winners medal to stick two fingers up at those who deemed him not good enough.

As a Hull FC fan, I can only dream about what Powell could do with our set of underachievers. Hope Koucash doesn't get the cheque book out and steal him from you

There is always a possibility of that but Daryl Powell strikes me as a man with a mission, a plan and a vision, he has implemented his ideas and strong work ethos and family ideals throughout the whole club, therefore I feel it is unlikely he will be leaving anytime soon

Great to see all the comments from the RL family after yesterday but the harsh reality is that's it was only a 1/4 final, it would mean nothing if we go on to lose the semi -final, as much as I am on cloud 9 after the wigan game as a cas fan we all know that the fall from that cloud comes with a big bump at the end. Feet on the ground time and back to the bread and butter of SL

I think there may be bigger teams than Salford admiring what Powell is doing. I just hope they stay together and don't have all their best players cherry picked next season. I've seen it happen twice at Salford in the SL era. Hopefully, the fact that they are playing as a team without any standout players may help.

I thought the rain might have suited Wigan better than Cas, luckily I was wrong.

Think you need to learn the shoulder charge rule mate. You have to turn your body to shoulder charge someone, it isn't just tackling without wrapping your arms around the attacker. A lot of fans (many of ours included) don't seem to understand this and think tackles have been outlawed that haven't.

Aside from that, well done Cas, we were outcoached and outplayed. Will be cheering you on in the final if you get there
