Rangi wants to stay in England because he wants to play for England, if he leaves then he cannot play.

One of the main reasons he didn't leave was because he felt that StGeorge and his agent were messing him around with how long the deal was taking to complete, they kept putting it off.

FWIW I think he will either be with us or at Salford next year. Although my money is on Salford because we cannot afford to have his wages on our books without finding another investor

Salford Council isn't involved, and would hold no sway whatsoever over the Borders and Immigration Service, or whatever guise they have now become. My guess is negotiations will be going between the legal teams, but what the outcome will be is anyone's guess. I would love to see Chase at Salford, but I am not holding my breath. I feel or Cas over this issue, we lost our best players last year because of money problems, it is not a pleasant outlook.

We will see. Like I said, Im not stating the reasons why I think this as Im not getting into the friends brothers wife thing. Just be prepared to see Rangi and Clarke n Cas shirts. The only way things will change is if ridiculous money gets offered to the club which they cant refuse.

Can't say too much but talking to lads within the club they say an agreement has been reached and Chase will be a Red Devil next year.
