He's right in a sense but not in the way he's actually meaning.

Westerman was sold to contribute to planning permission. We could afford it with or without selling Westerman, hence why we offered him a new contract but selling him made sense when he rejected it and it funded the planning permission without Cas spending a lot of money and a commitment that would be a risk financially and also so they had money to spend on other aspects of the club.

Why did he reject your contract if everything is as rosy as you would have us believe?

He had to leave after he had a fight during training with Goldy over a £300k shed that Goldy's family owns in the outback. It all goes back to an incident with a pole dancer which I can't talk about but it does explain why Dicko's so good at kicking and also the 'real' reason why Matterson lost his finger.

I was listening to Radio Leeds earlier, and I heard Peter Roe saying he's heard that Chase is being chased

by Leeds and he may sign for them for next season but then suggested that he might even make the switch in a few weeks.

I think it's all a bit fishy to be honest and that Roe is being egged on to make such rumours up.



But anyways, seriously, is he leaving Cas?

Won't be leaving this season.

There was a meeting between his agent and RW last week but I suspect we'll be making every effort to retain him after his contract expires at end of 2012.

Trouble is, I think he wants to go back to the NRL and he would not play for any other club in England if Cas put an offer on the table to be honest. He loves it here and he's said that himself.

Exactly, even when he gives any credit to Cas you can hear his teeth grinding as he does it.... he doesn't like us one bit.

Apparently Goldies facebook wall is littered with comments from another member of Goldie's family whaling on about the reason Goldie isn't playing this weekend is because TM is a T*sser etc etc. Which wouldn't be too much out of line with the above scenario!

"apparently" - but a quick look shows nothing on his wall except "Ryan McGoldrick has no recent posts". I suppose he could have more than one facebook page, but a search of Facebook - while it shows many Ryan McGoldricks - shows only one page where the profile pic is him

correction: two search results, one under pages one under people. Both with empty walls except for the message about no recent posts

It will say that if his profile is private and your not friends with him. You need to be accepted as a friend to see his wall.

Having checked his facebook wall, it's not littered with comments from members of his family about the reason Goldie isn't playing this weekend. There's ONE comment from LAST week from someone who's apparently a member of his family (which could be tongue-in-cheek as it's a response to a question as to why he wasn't in the team).

So now we've got that one cleared up...

He's just put on that he's going to florida for 2 weeks next week.
Might be a wind up not sure.
