So Snitch & Holmes in the 19, replacing Jones (injured) & Isa (suspended).
I suspect both will start with Brett Ferres taking Willie's centre berth leaving Nick Youngquest and Adam Milner outside the 17 again.

Or maybe the three quarters could line up like
1 - Richard Mathers,
2 - Kirk Dixon,
3 - Nick Youngquest,
4 - Joe Arundel,
5 - Richard Owen,
and the loose could be
13 - Brett Ferres,
A wild idea, I know …

| Surely Dixon to centre would be more sensible then Youngquest there. Hope TM doesn't resort back to Ferres at centre though

I think tb was coming at it purely from a numbers point of view.

Yeah, numbers don't tend to mean much nowadays, probably a difficult concept for old timers like you to grasp

| I would revert back to what has been working for us. Ferres back in the centres, Younquest on the wing, no place for Owen. Ease him back in when needed, I don't think any of our backline deserve to be replaced.
All around us are slipping up, we need to keep up the momentum and go about our business and keep clicking the 2pts up. I have a feeling Salford will come at us tomorrow and play an open game. Desire in defending our own line again - I want to see us get off to a good start. The weather should be cracking, really hope the fans get down in numbers and get behind the boys.

| Think this may be our toughest home test. Stanford have got a decent squad so we need to be on our game in defence. Would love to win by 20 and go top but I'd just take a win.

Don't worry about it too much mate. It doesn't really matter which one of us wins the league leaders shield, come the end of the season it's who wins at Old Trafford!

| I didn't think todays was our best performance, but we won easy. I think TM will have a lot to work on from today without being negative.
I really feel for Salford, they can't seem to get started and they remind me of when we went down first time, individually there is no reason why those players are not winning games, but it just isn't happening for them - difficult signs for them and I feel for them.
Nothing can be taken for granted, but I would like to think we could knock off Wakey and Quins before we hit Saints and Leeds back to back. Not that any game, given Wigans result this weekend can be taken for granted.

My thoughts exactly. To put 52 points on any team is a feat in itself, and to do it without putting in a particularly good performance just shows what we could do.

| Salford turned up for a decent period in the first half, they seemed to make some good yards going forward. I thought that we could have let them make a scrap of it like we have most teams in previous seasons. We blew them away in the last ten minutes of the first 40, leaving them an uphill struggle.
Never mind Salford, i think there will be a few teams who get blown away down the lane this year.

| To score 52 and not play that well is the sign of a good team. I thought we were sloppy in the 1st half and Salford played some good rugby. 2nd half we were alot better and scored some good tries. Pleasing aswell that we have kept our 100% home record intact. Special mentions to Emmitt (great signing) and Dixon who i thought were very good for us today, as was Chase. He was fantastic.

Agree 100% with that and the subsequent posting about Danny Orr...is there a better balanced halfback pairing anywhere at the moment? I've seen some great stand-offs at Cas in my time - including Millward and Hardisty - but Chase's performance yesterday was as good as anything I've witnessed.

| Chase was pure class on the field yesterday - brilliance personified.
The team performance in the 15 minutes before half-time was enthralling - attacking rugby as good as I've ever seen, from any team.
