PAC has got to be on here for the wind up. Otherwise the RFL respect policy would simply say.....'shout or chant whatever you want as long as you don't mention their sexuality.' As we all know....it actually says much more than that. The end!

I'd bet that the last thing your club needs right now is a confrontation with the RFL, so i'd seriously urge Cas to re-consider their actions more carefully and to actually be seen to actually do something about the problem

I'm guessing you are an official within the RFL then The Chin's Back, since you have failed to see what the cas club have been doing BEFORE, during and after the incident. Take the time to go to the Tigers website and read the reasons why the Cas club feels hard done by with the severity of the fine. The RFL have given the reason that the Cas club failed to act upon the chants when according to the version Cas have written in their statement, i can't see much else they could have done apart from randomly throw a handgrenade in the direction of the chanting. After the Catalans incident last year, the club stepped up their efforts and then this incident gets them an astonishing £40k fine even though the Cas club feel they are doing, and did all they could.

Has the club found out who these morons are yet?
Surely someone stood nearby knows who they all are,and should report them to the club so that they can receive lifetime bans.

The fact that they only got banned [iafter[/i the club were fined seems to indicate a reluctance to do anything about it - which is why the club were fined in the first place.

Shame they didn't ban the fans in the week following the incident, then they wouldn't have got fined would they?

Perhaps the evidence needed to ban them has only just become available?

They retrospectively installed cameras?
They retrospectively accrued views of those around the idiots post fine?
They retrospectively decided it was of value to do so, because of the fine.

Either way, a common theme occurs. That the club is only now placing a value on it's significance.

They didn't get a £40k fine, they got a £20k fine.

You can argue all you like about the £20k fine, and in all honesty it was very harsh in relation to similar treatment of football sides.

But you can't argue about the other £20k. There is no argument to be had. You accepted the suspended fine previously, and you have committed an offence again. You can't go back and say "well actually sir we thought you would never enforce it".

Thought it was 40k with 20k suspended and the previous 20k brought forward, thus again 40k with 20k still suspended.....

Can you please enlighten us all as to what this "evidence" is that may have only just appeared?

Please can you explain how CCTV footage, knowledge of the chanting that occurred, and knowledge of the rules under the Respect agenda is still unsufficient for the club to have banned the individuals concerned, until after the fine?
