| I've not seen enough of Isa to know if he's nailed on to start or not. Fozzard for Walker however is nailed on.

Did you see enough of Chase when he came over for a starting spot?

I think you've misunderstood me. My opinion is "i don't know if he'll start or not because i don't know how good he is" as oppossed to what i think you read it as me saying "i've not seen anything of him, so don't start him". Fozzard i feel will be in the team, wether he is on at the start or not will be down to TMs tactics i guess. I'd put Fozzard on the bench at least for his first game.
I'm looking foward to seeing what Isa has to offer especially as i feel our wing/ partnerships aren't good enough to last us a season as they are right now. I'm a big fan of Arundel but don't want to ruin him by playing him too much and Ferres needs to be in the forwards for me.

No probs at all bud. Let's hope he has as much impact at Cas over the next few years as Mr Chase has!

| Definitely. I think if he has a massive year this season he may get snapped up by another club as we only have him for a year. Hope he is as good as we expect though.

| I think it is a tough decision for Terry this week who to select- I have a feeling Snitch will be in as a direct replacement for Aspinwall, while Walker will be swapped for Fozzard. I would too like to see Willie Isa get a run, but who he replaces is a tough shout- I think Olly Holmes is probably the one to make way with Ferres going up into the pack, but I don't know if he deserves to be dropped as he has played so well. As a youngster a rest may do him good, but if one of the senior players puts in a lazy showing, then it may be a poor decision...although if any of the senior players put in poor showings, I'm sure they will be massively aware that they won't be in the team next week.
Also before the season started, I'd have found it hard to believe we could name a 19 man squad without Ryan Hudson and I'd feel confident about that being a positive thing. It will be very hard to drop either of the hookers, and I'm sure they will both require rests over the next few weeks- but I will be interested to see how Daryl Clark fares running against a tiring, cumbersome Catalans forward pack..

| Another toughie, this lot always appear to draw is into a niggly game. Discipline needs to be top notch.
I think TM is going to be - Devil if he does, Devil if he doesn't - this year, as we will all try to pick the team for him. For what it's worth, I would bring Fozz in for Walker, that's it.
TM said the back three are playing as well as any in the comp at the moment, I will be amazed if he changes them. Holmes has been immense with Emmit and Jones.
The worst game of the season for atmosphere against the French, err Aussies - the team will have to lift themselves at times, which may play against us in patches. We have kept things very simple this year and long may it continue.
Defence !
Enthusiasm in Defence !
Team spirit in Defence !
Discipline and ball control !
Keep it simple Cas and lets sit pretty tomorrow night !

| Defence wins games !!
Proof in the pudding tonight. Around 65 mins we were under intense pressure on our own line, but working our nuts off for each other. Clinical finishing from fantastic defence !
Well done Cas, I would take a 4 nil win every week with intensity in defence.

| A few conclusions I have come to after the game are:
1. We didn't get an easy ride with Bentham today. Not the worst ref performance ever but still shocking in places, especially towards then end, and the odd bounce didn't go our way (how did that ball not sit up for Danny) yet we still managed to get the win.
2. We have pace! We have never had pace. You could just see the Catalan teamtalk now. 'Ok what we are going to do is bomb Youngquest' It worked a couple of times and then...... If I could read minds when the sky camera went to the Catalan coach when Youngquest ran the length of the field it was something like aaaaaaaaah feck. Also Arundel showed good pace too. I honestly don't think Shenton would have made that if it was last season.
3. Dureau was fantastic today, but we are getting better at closing down dangermen, and in the 2nd half we had him figured out. The amount of times he had to change direction because he had no options was pleasing to see.
4. Our fitness levels are way better than last year.
5. The first 20 mins of second half last season we were blown away by teams. This season, have we conceeded a single try in this 20 minute spell? They all seem to be coming at the end of the game.
Very pleasing.
Huby for England!
