dose any body know how many memberships waky have sold

They say 4k Gold memberships @£125 or less.

so thats equivalent to just over 2000 in comparison to us when all the money is added up, it might be more members or season ticket holders than they have had for a long time, but the bank statement wont have increased much

How did you come to that conclusion frank?

Just for the record i can't get an exact figure of sales at Wakey or any income thats come into the club from sales so you can speculate if you wish but thats all it is.

Anyway back to the topic of Cas memberships, from reading this board and that other excuse for a forum it seems that sales are going well and above what some predicted.

Do you not agree its a plus for both clubs?

Not quite Fully it was 4300 Gold passes at £125 then they went to £150 from the first of November and are now at £175 with sales towards Christmas and offers on for kids so 4000 at £125 is a little off the mark.

Is it? so all your membership packs are twice the price of Wakey then? I thought you had sold a shed load of Bronze at %£50 thats less than half the price of Wakefields origuinal price so have we taken twice as much revenue as Cas?

Dont need the spin you have sold several thousand so have we leave it at that its good for both clubs why have a wallet measuring contest

I haven't seen much publicity or announcements since you hit 4000 so that's why I used that as a minimum starting point.

Plus, it's hard to compare without a composition of Junior/Adult/Concessions, which would considerably alter the revenue brought in.

No, 84% of those sold were SILVER memberships (i.e. £43 Junior, £100-and-odd for concessions and £205 for Adults).

The remaining 16% were bronze (£50), Gold (£235) or Platinum (£600). I know for a fact we have sold some Platinum and Golds within those 16% so the bronze figures account to approx 400 or less of total sales.

So all of our memberships are more expensive than yours including the bronze, which dwarfs your Junior tickets.

Have you emailed the club with this suggestion? I imagine Fozzy and Sarah would discuss options



Last I saw we had sold 30 of the 50 allocated Platinum (although this was when the memberships first became available so that figure is probably more by now)

Fozzy put on twitter that we had already made 50,000 pounds more than last year, surely we could use this money already made for a player?

We may have other overheads to pay for first.

Silver membership - just had my card for 2 days. Picked it up on Saturday. Saved £5 in club shop and £10 in Chiquito's. Get in!

They haven't updated the website since Saturday - surely we're past the 3000 mark now?

Not quiete...2,967 at 5pm on Monday. I expect this figure to rise significantly once we get the Junior Partnerships up and running. If what Foz says is true and we're already £50,000 up then the pot is going to be a lot more full than this time last year. Would there be enough to make a signing or two though as I feel that would give it yet another boost on sales?

By the way Fozz was talking the other day, we'll only look to sign players if we're knocking on the door of 5000.

And CM2, I haven't mentioned it to Fozz but we have been raising awareness of it to other fans on Twitter so who knows.

This said, I think given that this year's was rushed, we should be looking ahead to 2014 with excitement. The thing for me is that they're going to have to do something original next season. If it just contains a hat and a pen again then I think people will swiftly be turned off, as who needs several hats and pens.

True but that's part of the package and ultimately it's the contents that also entice other people to buy. If there's value for money in it, then people will purchase it.

Thats what i mean just to watch a live game is all i would ask for, but not being able to go is horrid i would give a hell of allot to be able to go, but i cant, for fans who say they need more then fare enough, but believe me if we loose it, it will be mist more than folk think

Yeah I noticed shortly after I posted.

Sales decline over the last two days, 18 sold Monday and 12 sold yesterday. To be honest I thought the nearer we got to Christmas the sale would go up slightly with Christmas presents being bought.

Agree they will have to think of something else to put in the packs next year. Yes Frank you are right, we are buying the card to get in to games but the promotion of discounts and little nice to have extra's also help with the sales so something different next year would be good.

Maybe a scarf for this bloody cold weather! and a keyring?

Thats what we need start them as young as possible, it shows how committed to Cas some fans Are, as for the box set some years ago when i never mist Wembley, i always bought the souvenir silk or silk look scarf it never kept the cold out but it was easy made and the printing on it could be anything to do with Cas, i always keep those type of memento, when you have collections of shirts and scarf's, there small enough that they take no room up, plus we could have bottle openers, and a members pin with the date & a motive on it

Guys FYI If any Adult member after opening the Membership pack thinks their Beanie hat is too little ,it may be that you have been giving a kids hat by mistake , I contacted Tom Walters from marketing at the tigers at tom@castigers.com after i found out my hat was too little and i was missing a pen,Tom responded promptly and asked me down to the ground where he quickly sorted me out with an Adult Beanie and a pen .
