The first time I really took any notice of McGoldrick was in the semi final and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He's a thug, a cheap shot merchant and what he did to Obst last night should see him banned. He was constantly niggling and sticking the shots in throughout the game and don't get me started on the stupid bloody pony tail he's sporting...he needs to seriously grow up!!!!

Putting aside the fact that he could only choose the smallest man on the pitch for the cheap shot, not someone like O'Meley, I would be bothered about the fact that two men drifted past him for tries. Briscoe is fast, but he had McGoldrick in front of him and Mathers at his side, and he drifted past McGoldrick. Can't remember who got the second try by just pushing him away, but it was shocking full back play.

Yes agree. You won't find many Cas fans now who want him to stay.

Can't say I've ever rated him...never done anything that would suggest he lives up to his contract, last night was just further proof that he's just a thug, hopefully the rumour of him being shopped to other teams is true.

Everyone seems happy to have a go at RM but no-one has a go at the idiot that keeps playing him. TM has an awful lot to answer for in the second half of the season, not only playing RM. Richie Owen was by far the worst player on the field last night but was left on to play 80 minutes, he has been bad for the last month or so but has never been dropped. In my opinion he is more a full back than a winger because too often he is out of position and the others wingers are having a free run to the line on numerous occasions. I know we have been hit hard by injuries especially to the props but in the last 16 games we have conceded 30 points on 10 occasions, this is simply not good enough. For all you Ian Millward knockers i just cannot see him letting them get away with performances like that. After our start we should have been looking at no worse than top 6 but we are not going to make the play offs, that is a disgrace and TM has to carry the can.

Sometimes he is good, often ok, a lot better than me, but then again it's not my job is it? The phelps tackle was high, but he was not standing upright and that just deserved a penalty.

Some poor decisions and the Briscoe try did show him up for position and pace.

The obst assault was just that, no point, nothing to be gained, nothing professional about it, I would find that cheap at any level of the game.

5 games plus ban I would suggest and I won't complain at that. I don't buy in to this blackmail and owed business.... Decent bloke and when his head is on he can be a really positive contributor, but too often head not on right it seems.

But as others say, he keeps getting his name on the team sheet..... I think in the back 3rd of the season, TM has played what he has, sometimes out of loyalty or sometimes out of desperation to salvage something from the start we had.

Like i said earlier in the thread....send him to a shrink, its not like he can't afford it ...or get shut!

Its in our blood to try and defend one of ours,sorry,not this time,Ryan,take a good,long hard look at yourself and try to find out why,in you're mind,it's ok to try and incapacitate a fellow player,you have issues,serious issues,please sort it out before someone gets really hurt.

Compounded by the fact Obst is one of the smallest and honest players in the game. He must have looked at him and thought you are everything I'm not and lashed out like the thug he is.
I've held back having a go at him as I don't mind a little biff but that was just an assault.
