| The clubs new CEO is trying to put wright 10 years of miss management, when we got are franchise we were told that we were a well run club that lives within its means, and know a year or so out and were skint, so much for living within our means, ether we gave them the wrong books to look at or they did not bother looking at them, we have a new CEO, and manager, so the next thing what is needed, is the same thing what we did with last years rubbish, Mr Fulton needs to weed out the hangers on who act as board members and bring in new blood, with fresh input & funds, so to sum it up, if the old board will not invest in Cas get shut,

Based on what happened at Bradford, this is the likely answer.

| It shows how well run the RFL is, they pay a company to check the books, but they ignore the facts, and then come up with a fairytale on how well the clubs are doing.

We are a well run club that runs within its means. The average SL losses and losses in general in SL far dwarf our own. The situation is quite worrying as a sport

| Looking at other clubs ST prices for next year we are charging an average price:-
Bulls - Adult Terrace £180 (early bird) rising to £220
Castleford - Adult Standing £205 (early bird) rising to £225
Catalans - Average Seating price 250 euros (various categories)
Huddersfield - Adult Seating £199 (early bird) rising to £260
Hull KR - Adult Standing £207 (renewals) rising to £246
Hull FC - Adult cheapest seating price (South Stand) £205 rising to £260
London - Adult Seating £140 (renewals) rising to £175 (11 games + 2 on the road)
Leeds Rhinos - Adult Standing (South Stand) £200 (early bird) rising to £220
Salford - Unknown
Saints - Adult Bronze Seating £208 (renewals) rising to £260 (Nth & South Stands)
Wigan - Adult South Stand (Seating) £206 (renewals) rising to £285
Warrington - Adult Standing £201 (renewals) rising to £239
Widnes - Adult Stronghold Membership £199
Wakefield - Adult Standing £125 (early bird) rising to £250
Wakey and London obviously stand out as the cheapest and most are priced around the £200 mark. We are not over-charging by any means and don't forget the other benefits of membership.

Quote ="Tigerade"A bit here about the problems of selling cheap season tickets (and some interesting comments) from the Bradford T & A :-
www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/n ... _/?ref=rss
Bulls have sold 4,200 and are on course for 10,000.'"
I would suggest the Bulls owners are being rather optimistic if not downright delusional in thinking they are on course to hit the 10,000 target. It stands to reason the majority of fans will buy their tickets ahead of the deadline for the cheapest price. The fact they've not reached half their overall target by that point suggests they're unlikely to get anywhere near 10K.
That said, given the tickets are more than double the previous price a realistic target of say 6000 would see an increase in revenue from last season. On top of that they'll have more walk up sales on the day of people who couldn't afford/didn't want a season ticket but will pick and choose their matches.

| Cas have always been competitive, a membership only costs you £50 plus the goody bag so you loose nothing, remember we are only a small town, but we have sold coming up to 3000 memberships, my family have 2 bronze and 2 silver, the bronze wont be used except for the discounts, i cant go any more but i still support the club, with DD its only a small amount just over £2 a week, if you buy a shirt you get £4,50 back so its worth every penny _ in my opinion

Totally agree Frank. I work in Bradford and am trying to talk a few Bulls fans into signing up for the Bronze membership. I think I've got a few interested, especially when I tell them they can save £25 on getting their car MOT's, along with all the savings to be had at Xscape and get 2 tickets to Cas games (one obviously being against the Bulls). Even if I only get one to sign up it's one more than we had before.

Membership packs have list of companies who have offers for members but don't tell us what the offers are. Its a pretty long list though.

| When you think about it, at £50 and free DD, some fans from this area, who are Waky or Rhinos fans would make some good savings, there is plenty of fans who use Xscape, need Mot's and go to at least one Cas match, with £25 savings on the Mot, £21 entry to the game, that leaves £4 to put you in the black, so sell the Cas bit's & bats from the gift set on
e,bay, charge £4 for p&p, you will get a few quid for the gift pack & you are sorted, all you have to do then is use the discounts at Xscape on some fine dining, and you will be quids in, so come on you Waky, and Rhinos, fans who use the restaurants at Xscape, go to away games & need A Mot, get a membership, you know it makes sense

I wouldn't mind us just selling memberships specifically for away fans for £50.00.

| I suggested the same thing but got shot down on the Wakey site, Giants did it this year (but open for anyone to buy for behind the sticks) and there were regular wire, batley, dewsbury and Wildcat fans in attendance. At £50 it pays for itself if you go to 3 matches a season. For me it makes sence.

Season Ticket/Membership?
For non-ST holders it may be a bit difficult but it could be sold through other SL clubs with them retaining some of the cash.
Would give both clubs more extra income than expected. For instance, if a Cas membership costs £50.00 and £10.00 went to the other SL team, that's still £8.00 more per person than they would get from selling an ordinary ticket for £20.00 to a Cas away game (£2.00/10%)

| think the point to fans of other clubs is......................
the membership costs £50
if you go to your team away at cas, thats £21 of that accounted for
plus the £25 off an MOT
that's only an actual COST of £4
but if you go to xscape a couple of times for some food then you've saved money WHILST putting your bit into rugby league!
Anybody that says "no cause it's cas" is NOT a rugby league fan in my eyes

In a Cas bronze membership you get two free tickets for £50.00, plus all the discounts at places around Cas and in Xscape etc etc. So effectively, if you bought one 'away' membership for you and someone else, you could use two tickets to Cas game, which is the same as paying £40.00 for two tickets to the game normally.
If you buy tickets now your club gets 10% of the money. Tickets last year were £18.00 for adult standing (so £1.80 is 10% for each ticket sold). If prices increase this year to £20.00 then that's £2.00 per ticket.
So for tickets sold through your club you could get £3.60/£4.00 for your club for two tickets. Whereas the scheme could work in favour of the away clubs because if we liaised with away clubs and allowed them to sell it through their own club shop, £10.00 of the sale of a membership could be given back to that club as an incentive for selling it. They'd be £6.00 up on the equivalent number of tickets. It would, therefore, generate more income for the away club and also increase Cas's income making finances stronger for all clubs concerned.

| I would go so far as to say it would benefit fans of clubs from further afield if they wished to combine their trip to Cas with eating in Frankie & Bennys or Chiquito's before/after the game.
Having not picked up my membership pack yet I don't know whether this is viable but say a family buys a Bronze membership that includes 2 game tickets for their teams game at Cas - both adults taken care at the ordinary cost of £40. Then visits one of the above establishments for a family meal which could easily cost £60 - £80 normally but for which they will save 20% or 25%.
I guess the only negative is that it seems like Cas are trying to make the Wheldon Road end Cas fans only by restricting it to members, but if away fans got membership they would be able to get in there as well.

| No it wouldn't, Cecil.
The Away one would be sold separately not including the Cas stuff. That could be sold for ground entry, excluding Wheldon Rd End.
