Too many of the 'modern day' debates are around stadia/finances/attendances and inevitably descend into a slagging match about which area's populants are most socially deprived, economically inactive or educationally substandard. Stick to on-field matters and your far less likely to prompt personal attacks or log-off feeling in need of a good wash.

He didn't come from Salfords academy at all.

He was on a scholarship at another club, not in the academy he was 15, and I thought it was Warrington?. There is many many kids who have left scholarships at one club and gone to another's academy on turning 16. It's when they join the academy that they are classed as developed by that club.

Arr so you poach the best scholarship prospects nice! Wonderfull club. Joking aside Leeds do alot in and around the Leeds clubs juniors

walker was released by bradford iirc, and milner wasnt at another academy as far as i can remember, though he was on a wakey scholarship.

Exactly, and Danny Orr was also at Leeds as a Junior before Cas. Only signing up for Cas academy on his dad leaving leeds. Does that make Orr a Leeds developed player and that Cas did not develop him? Does it hell.

I agree with you, only from academy onwards can you say you have developed someone, ferres was on a cas scholarship but i would always say he was developed by bradford.
