no there was no lager because it was thrown all over the wakey fans at full time and some pathetic old man decided to cause a fight when all we wanted to do was celebrate our victory dont know how much it escalated but got out of the way and didnt celebrate

There were a couple of ambulances outside the ground after the match.

One was for the guy in the Princess St who collapsed and had to be revived.

The other was for me; with 1 minute 30 to go, when you were in our twenty and looking like scoring, I had a massive stroke.

I hate losing to Wakefield. I despise you. To lose that game I then lose the emotion that the derby game generates. Games against Quins, Crusaders, Catalan at home are soulless in comparison.

Yeah, to be fair it is.

Shocking second half performance by Cas and all the more soul destroying as it was against the poorest side I believe we've faced this season. I thought it was a slow game, we got sucked into a scrap and Child, as expected, proved to be a leveller for much of the game. That doesn't excuse our shocking defence though when at 20-points up all we had to do was retain posession and kick on from there.

Interesting to see that normal service was resumed yesterday for both teams, regardless of how desperately unlucky we were at the end.

I think that's a semi-fair analysis. We definitely played the game at Wakefield's pace, and if you play to their pace, they're going to be in with a chance. If we'd had more urgency and put the effort into quick play the balls, we'd have blown them off the park.

Unfortunately we couldn't match Wakefield for enthusiasm, and the better team on the night won.

Oh well, I don't suppose everyone can be gracious in defeat.

Crusaders were the poorest side we've played this season.

Wakey missed Higgins, Rinaldi, Moriano and our kicker griffin. Plus George out also. All expected to be back vs kr.

Wigan were class defensively by all accounts and any team in Sl would have struggled to score more than 10. There heads were screwed on big time.

That said cas are looking like doing what wakey did last season after we won 7 from 9. I hope you turn it round and keep fighting and get back to winning ways!
