Theres been too many cluless performances from this guy over the season now and i for one think the club should be looking for a get out clause in the unbelievable 4 year contract that he was awarded last year, i would just like to see how many other people on here feel the same way as i am sure its not just me.

Unless you can find a buyer then i think your stuck (and don't look at us!). TBH i think most clubs have higher expectations of their overseas players, Quota spots don't grow on tree's you know!

When he's good he can be great. Take the 1st 4 game's of this season,he looked good and was playing some good stuff. Sadly for him and the club that form has long gone. Time for a change imo

i dont want anyone to get me wrong on this pole i dont like knocking players but i just think that mcgoldricks form is becoming beyod a joke, i think the last decent game he had was huddersfield away and since then he is just going from bad to worse. The thing that really narked me with him was last week against KR when he threw that killer pass at westy then had the balls to go over and give him a bollocking for not taking it then last nights performance from him has just tipped me over the edge and i think his stint in the first team needs to end now and give him some time in the reserves, as i do realise the club ar'nt going to get out of the idiotic contract they have given him.

Why Bother with the reserves!!!!!

He costs us points or penalties every week. Playing like he set for life with his 4 year deal. Only player I know that the positions people play depend on where he plays. I am all for him being versatile if he performs. HE HAS NOT since Hudds away.

Yeah I would say so but he is being made to look bad having to defend about 8 men and hardly ever gets ball in attack.

Another Plea is TM gona pick a side for shenton to play and leave him there rather swapping sides every week

i think thats been the thing holding shenton back this season, i dont really look at the opta stats but he must make more tackles per game than any other in the league couple that with the service he gets from goldy and thats the only reason he isnt without doubt the top in super league, but thats just my opinion.

I think shenton has had a good season.
He's had a couple of bad games, but then all the team had a pretty much bad game against Leeds.

He's scored more tries than any centre in superleague this year. And has looked superb in a lot of matches.

If you compare his stats against other centres than he pretty much comes out on top. I'd say the only English centre better than him this year is Senior, but shenton is only 22.

Another stupid post. Do you honestly think this will help a player that is obviously struggling with confidence due to playing out of position?

sorry mate everyone has there opinion but i have to disagree with yours, you tell me what position you have seen mcgoldrick play well in, we have seen him at fullback, ,standoff, and loose the truth is he dosent have a position and since he got his new contract he is just pinching money, i will agree with one of your points though this is a pointless pole as it will make no difference to anything he will still keep getting in the team every week and will still kepp giving sub standard performances but thats just the way it is i am affraid.

Yes we are called supporters and he is called a player on a big wage. Does that mean he is not able to be called out by supporters who pay there hard earned cash every week to go watch the team play and for him to put sub par after sub par performances each week.

Would we get away with it on our jobs no we would get a kick up or fired. what does he get a place in team every week without fail. In my opinion he is robbing the clubs and fans blind week in week out and deserve all the crap he gets into he puts in performances like he is supposed too.

cant accept that mate, i support the team as much as anyone i have missed one game in the last 3 seasons and that was because i had to go to wedding and sky ed me, as i have said earlier i dont like knocking players but this guy is not strugling for form he is just not interested as he knows his spot in the team is reserved week in week out irelevant of performance, some people on this forum must have blinkers on if they cant see mcgoldrick couldnt give a to$$ when he goes out there as he does the same thing week on week either interception balls or hospital balls and i just think its about time somthing was done about it before he stuffs up our season once and for all, oh and this post hasnt just come on a whim after fridays game in which very few came out of it with any sort of credit, this has been coming over the full season or to be more precise since he got his new contract.

As my previous post said he need to be dropped. Cas have given him his pension for retirement with the 4 year deal. I myself have only missed 2 games home and away this year and have seen his performances get worse and worse. He does not care we should give someone a chance who will play for the badge.

OMG Leave the guy alone this was not Mc Goldricks fault this was a team problem. Ok he may not be playing the best rugby at the minute but i dont think he would sign a 5 year deal if he did not care about cas would he so just leave the guy alone.

I sometimes think some of our fans aren't happy unless they can single out a player to blame for all the world's (or at least club's) ills and have a go at – and now Sione's gone, looks like McGoldrick is in the firing line.

Friday night was painful to watch: but singling out Ryan is nonsense. One (and just one) of our problems was that our right had side was an open door – and Leeds strolled through it on numerous occasions. As it happens, that was Shenton's side.

Shenny is a international class player, one of the best in the club and a fans favourite. Nobody would dream of singling him out and demanding he be got rid of because of Friday's result. And rightly so. It's not his individual fault. And it's not McGoldrick's.

On Friday we were a team seriously out of shape. As soon as the team was announced over the tannoys and included "stand-off: Dean Widders", I thought "Sh!t, we're going to get tonked". Not because Deano is a bad player, but because if we've got a second rower at stand stand-off, we're stretched badly out of shape.

I suspect a number of players thought the same thing. And when it comes down to it, that's a problem of squad depth.

you are getting this post all wrong i am not blameing him for fridays performance ias i have said earlier this has beeen coming since he got his new 4 year deal and if you think he signed that because he loves the club i think you are missleading yourself on that too, i dont know how much he is on but i am guessing this contract is as good as a pension fund, my point is since he signed the new deal he has got worse and worse and just doesnt look as though he gives a damn at times, so please dont think i have done this on the back of fridays trouncing.

I see what you are saying I have said to my mate that he is not playing well and he is lacking confidence, because everything that happened last couple of years came through mc goldrick all the fans was behind him (most of the time) and suddenly this year that has all changed what with chase coming in and loads off injuries he has been playing out of position he is defiantly not a half back but I think he plays well at full back although his positioning at times is not the best BUT WHEN HE ATTCKS FROM THAT POSITON HE IS HARD TO STOP.

All I am saying is give the guy a break every time we lose its mc goldricks fault!!!! When have the time its not just his fault.
