There should be no reason as to why not, but i believe we need fozzard and hudson in for this one, batter their pack then bring in clarke to cover hudson

I agree, Speedy, fozzard and Hudson to return for me, but I think Milner has done enough to keep Clarke out. I'd also like to see Isa start with Ferres back into the pack.

Noticed in RLE last night that the England Elite Squad, including Brett Ferres of course, are spending 3 days together this week at RAF Cranford. That doesn't leave much time for working on the Ferres/Youngquest partnership before Saturday so maybe Isa will get a start?

Good luck to you, its going very well for you and I hope you keep it up for the rest of the season. As a Leeds fan, i shouldnt be wishing it upon anyone but Leeds, but imagine Castleford coming top at the end of the season. Would be brilliant for the game.

Why is Willie Isa not playing? He is meant to be amazing and would like to see Steve Snitch back in the side. I'm guessing Terry will give John Walker a rest after him been stretchered off and could see Nick Fozzard made his super league debut for us

Isa is having time with the reserves to adjust to the conditions and English lifestyle. No use rushing him, especially when he was rusty against Hull.

As for Snitch he has to earn his spot like Hudson. Fozzard will get his shot this weekend.

My team this week would be

Mathers, Youngquest Isa, arundel Dixon.

Orr, Chase

Huby, hudson, Jackson
Snitch/jones Holmes
Ferres

Milner, Widders, Fozzard, Emmitt.

Milner to come on when Catalan forwards are weakening. Fozzard for power off bench. Widders as usual. Emmitt to cover prop and second row with Ferres able to move to centres if Isa struggles. Snitch or Jones to miss out from squad with Aspinwall and Clark.

Can see Matterson only changing Fozz for Walker though.

Isa won't be in this week.... Plus how could you drop anyone not injured at the moment. The messages to the 17 would be all wrong, the guys in the side now got the nod on trust and pre-season form, nobody has shown such poor form to be dropped so the people on the fringes, be the experienced ex-internationals or 17 year olds have got to be patient.
The exception to this would be Hudson back in for Clarke, he is young but good enough; but probably got through a couple of weeks on adrenalin and there is no value in over using him if we can bring Hudson back and protect him.

This is a huge ask, Catalan will be better than they have been all season this weekend, I am less confident about this than I was about Hull KR, I think Catalan will be mid-table and they have the power to beat us UNLESS we execute better than we did against Hull KR.

Lose by 12 or win by 20 for me, no middle ground.

So you would keep Ferres at Centre? Not for me, he looked out of place on Sunday and at times didn't know what to do with the ball.

Tougher game than people think,especially if Greenshields is back for them.

I'll go for a four point win for Cas. Hope its a good crowd on Saturday.

But only if Bentham keeps an eye on their high tackles, and if we don't take our minds off the game plan and get drawn into the physical encounter.

I'm loath to change a winning team but catalans have a big pack so i would make a few changes

Jones is a good tackler but too small to have much go forward, whilst he hasnt been bad i dont think aspinwall has been anything special either. Snitch will offer us more power than either of these too. Fozzard for the injured walker is a no brainer. You cant drop clarke, we looked more dangerous when he was on the pitch and he made some important tackles in defence. Dont want to leave hudson out and was considering him at loose but i think holmes, snitch, ferres and deano all need to be in the team. Isa is a difficult one because none of us have seen much of him play, if tm doesnt think he's ready i think we should recall thompson as he looked dangerous in the friendlies and did well for us last year.

No Hudson in the 19 so it seems certain that Milner & Clark will continue to share the hooking duties.#

I agree with pyeman that we'll see Fozzard for Walker.

Greenshields is in the Dragons 19 as is their top scorer, former Tiger Damien Blanch.

I've not seen enough of Isa to know if he's nailed on to start or not. Fozzard for Walker however is nailed on.

I hope he plays.
