He was my MOM as well closely followed by Chase. I though Owen had one of his best games yesterday in both attack and defence.

For what its worth Blaymires is far better at the moment, but i have to say Richards got a bright future in front of him and with luck will become a quallity fullback, watched the lad for a few years at junior levels and IMO he has what it takes.

i agree, what ive seen of him hes got better as the season has progressed, hes filling out well too and is good with ball in hand

He has had a massively better season than Westerman who was touted so heavily thus he is in line to become a genuine contender for international honours. He has also been touted by many other than myself - get over it.

Rubbishing Ferguson will not make Westerman any more likely to become superman anytime soon. Anyone who has watched Ferguson this year could not fail to be impressed, far more so IMO that Westerman this season. Blaymire has scored 7 tries and nearly all his stats are better than Owen - I really have to laugh at your definition of average - it really makes you look dumb. He isn't world class but then few in SL are including Owen but he's still pretty good and still better than Owen for now.

Your comment that Owen has played mainly on the wing only makes your assertion seem even more ridiculous - he's now according to you a better F/B than Blaymire even though he has hardly played there - is he a better prop than Graham or a finer stand off than McGuire - give your head a shake.

So because he's played 3 games this season at full back he can't be better then a Wakey player? so does that mean Ricky Bibey is a better prop then Ryan Boyle because he's played there more this season?

Your biased opinion thinks Blaymire is better, my opinion, and fans of other clubs think Owen is a better full back.

Of course you can to a degree, how can any sane person judge a player on three games and tout him as a better player than others in that position, it's pure idiocy. Blaymire has played about 50 SL games at that position and is a known quantity and can be fairly judged as IMO above average but below world class. No reasonable judge could have any realIstic opinion on Owen as a F/B.

As for other fans at other clubs thinking he is better

how old are you. What did they come up to you at one of the three games and randomly say "hey that Owen sure is better than Blaymire" give us a break.
