Like seeing us finishing 6th or 7th because we ran out of players until we can get a more permanent fix.

I think I'll trust them, well done all the management at the club.

I am no lover of DR, in fact I have spoken against it and how it is a way that the RFL is trying to run a second team on the cheap and trying to establish an Australian style feeder club system.

That said, however, I do believe in a fair and level playing field and if other teams around us are using DR it would put us at a huge disadvantage if we didn't. As it happens RM has used this as a last resort and seems to have been able to use it to our advantage instead of the superleague clubs advantage. Who knows, if we finish this season in 3rd or 4th we might have sufficient funds to have a bigger squad next season thereby not having to rely on DR.

I think 99.9% would agree here-and we know who the .1% is !!

Is there an inevitable danger in this middle that precludes the fair use of DR? What happens if and when we play Hull KR?

To be fair I'm only going on what I have read on Twitter from a few people.

Murdock is a player agent and has a lot of young Hull and Rovers players on his books, so he is probably correct.

Great signing if true, fits in perfect with the brand of rugby we are playing and puts pressure on both the halfs and hookers which is always good.

Looking like a done deal, like others have said this is excellent news.....

Notice the reference to "fulltime deal", might just mean "full contract" but you never know if it does mean fulltime deal there may be more to follow.

Dos this mean signed full time ie full time player on other job or a senior contract (ie fulltime) but in a part time team. I hope that question isn't confusing.

I'm sure at his age a part time deal would be the equivalent of a full time job in most areas.

Any of those will do. Good signing as he is looking good and the added stability should help him improve further, as well as having RM coaching him.
