There was loads more there today than the Sheffield game. How stupid do they think fans are? There's only one foot they're shooting by doing that. The RFL aren't going to give a franchise to a club who can't produce crowd figures above 2,186 for a cup QF.

Great performance from you guys today - you really do play some top stuff. We were outclassed all over the park and after we missed our chances early on it was always going to go way.

That's the kind of rugby we have been trying to play all season.

It is exciting to watch when it comes off like it did most of today, but can be extremely frustrating when it doesn't.

Let's hope that the lads have strung it together now and can play to this standard for the rest of the season. We have shown the potential and now lets see us kick on again from here.

Absolutely brilliant performance - well done, that's how RL should be played. Some of your fans near me, were having a pop at your guys, when the inevitable mistakes were made, but you won't go far wrong, playing that style of rugby.

Just realised that there was only 1650 at Widnes yesterday! That's a terrible turnout considering the amount they started the season with!

Barrow are good, but not as good as 'fax - who have been building up to this, the past couple of seasons.

'Country miles' seem to vary in length. (e.g. "the nearest pub is about half a mile away." Two hours later, and dying of thirst, you still haven't reached it!)

That's why I wrote 'a huge distance' - it seemed even longer than a country mile!!

Er top crowd in the QFs by quite a few, you seen the other gates at Barrow, Oldaham (LSV) and Widnes??
Come on its all pay and when this happens you get the TRUE crowd figures in RL, no freebies and give aways like in the league.
NRC rarely gets big crowds, I thought we may have got 2300/2400 today but Leigh only brought around 200/250, not criticising they have a very average team.
Nearly 2200 is not bad come on.

You miss my point. I just don't believe the figure they announced. I have eyes, a brain and a memory. Using my not so special skills i put the three together for the Sheffield game and the Leigh game today and i just don't see how there were more at the Sheffield game.

You are probably right, what I understand is that clubs are allowed to count season ticket and other tickets issued up to a certain percentage (think its 80% but not certain) i.e you can count the actual gate and add all 'issued' tickets up to that 80% but only for league games and some of the Sky and NRC games where clubs are given free tickets by the sponsors.
If I am wrong then somebody correct me but this is going on throughout RL and could explain why when you attend a game you see less people than the 'official' attendance.
Come on look what the 'official' attendance was at Fev and yet the Fev fans say we only took a few hubdred, yet we made up around 25% of that crowd when you looked (at least).
Its what annoys me as SL fans go on and on about how big the crowd was at X yet there was never that many actually there.
In the pre-SL era I am damn sure what you saw what was you got unless there was actually more there and they reduced the gate to get more in the coffers and keep under the capacity like at Thrum Hall once against Wigan!
Either way I wish we would see the true attendance figures as I am sure we would all be in for a shock.
Why do the Challenge Cup games and NRC games always have much lower crowds???
Cos its ALL PAY. (apart from this year where we had the first game on our season tickets to increase the gates).

To be honest it shouldn't really matter (SL criteria excepted) but if clubs of any sport publish "attendance" figures it should equate to however many people were actually present for the game.

Who cares? We are one game away from the final. Come on!

The RFL and Super League club chairmen who don't want any more weak crowd pullers in Super League. Apart from that, you're right of course.
