Does anyone know when there will be a discission made on Calland.

I hate to say but either way ( would prefer if he went) the team needs a quick discission. So tthat we can completely put this behind us and take the league title and grand final

According to the Morning Worrier next week at the earliest as Mike Riley and Martin Hall are out of the country on business

With regards to the team Ben Black has come out backing Calland "We need him" according to Ben's facebook page

I think/hope he just means we need a coach not specifically MC.

This to me is where the professionalism of the club is severly lacking. I appreciate they're out of the country "on buisness" (I thought Mike was retired and I'm sure MH is house renovating!!) - Have they not got conference call facilities or SKYPE. This should be dealt with quickly and efficiently. As much as I am not a fan of Calland even he shouldn't be left hanging later than the weekend in my opinion. The team and club needs stability via a quick resolution so we can all move on together. Next week at the earliest is attrocious and shows how inept the club is currently at dealing with issues unfortunately. If Calland does go and we then need to start the search for a replacement it could be 2-4 weeks from now before we are stable again at a very crucial time in our season

They need him for exactly what? so they can continue to under achieve and carry on as before, they've needed a rocket under there backsides for a couple of years, Shut up Ben and get on with the Rugby, if you need coaching specifics at your age, im worried for us all.

Weve needed one for seasons now in my opinion! But i think this is becoming now less and less about Matt Calland and more and more about what Halifax RLFC needs and just as importantly doesn't need. It doesn't need this constant PR nightmare thats driving everyone up the wall.
