No way in hell should this tie be switched to Odsal. We have been drawn at home and thats the end of it.

Leigh East are a non member club, as they are not an RFL member club but a BARLA member. Therefore I would assume that rule B4:12 applies anyway.

So if there's a problem with the Shay how will Batley and Hunslet go on then?

all this talk of the bulls getting into the game free because its their 1st challenge cup game is confusing me.
when the rfl introduced this a couple of year back i swear they said its free to season tickets holders if drawn at home.
did this change or was i told wrong back then because i think it was the club who told me this when ordering my season ticket.

The Giants and Salford won't take anywhere near as many as Bradford would to the Shay , both those games will be seen as easy wins , whereas Fax are good enough on their day to worry the Bulls

Slightly off topic but the Operational Rules also feature a Cheerleaders Code of Conduct which I found quite amusing. Not sure there was anything like that 10 years ago but we'd have broken all those rules if it was. Oops!!

I'm sure this free entry has only been in effect the last three seasons, since Super League went to Franchising. I'm sure the first time I remember it was when we went on to play Castleford a couple of years ago.


As for the Bulls, they forget that they have the right to free entry, not the right to enter. You can't enter a ground if it's full. It doesn't matter if they had 100,000 season ticket holders, The shay meets the standard rules set out to hold a challenge cup tie.

But it says he can play for a member club as long as he is registered for that club , well is he ? Has he registered yet due to wanting to go on the Barla tour or not anyone know?
