Yes he did TH with facial injuries, it was a separate incident to his head butt against Moore at Batley when Stokes was as much to blame as anyone but that's another story.

He had an op a couple of weeks back and basically RM said it would put him back a bit at the start of the season and likened it to Adam Tangata who really came through as the season went on after a similar late start.

I've got to admit when I first read this I thought oh no, but on reflection Dane and Wayne both had similar injuries away from the game and we stood by them. Dane has had a fantastic season and played some of his best rugby for us. As for Wayne, it didn't effect his performances, he just didn't cut it at Fax.
I'd be inclined to think that Gareth might just make other sides pay for his injuries, he's a proper niggly half that will most likely get a MOM against Batley.
Trust RM, he'll either get the best out of Gareth or call time on it, he didn't let the Matt Place situation linger, so I trust him here too. These could be Gareth's best years coming up.
