I am in both and have won nothing on the Gold club and 3 £5 wins on the cashfax and 1 £100 win but its the suporting the club that makes me a winner.

Hey its not garbage, people do win and have better odds of winning than the lottery. Okay not as much money in the prizes but all this helps our club big time.

We are all winning by helping the club

Look at the stand and where we are in the league - we arnt doing bad compared to a few years back

Every single pound counts, if you see a raffle or a function you can attend join in everything helps.

Another way you can help the Supporters Trust which indirectly helps the CLub is to donate any old mobile phobes you may have. Malcolm Powell is collecting them and has around a dozen already.

I have just signed up and signed up 4 other people I know (just about to post two more). I just asked Richard to send me a few extra forms and asked a few people at work.

I may work in sales but I didn't have to do much selling as quite a few people were interested as they all saw it as much better odds than the lottery! (By the way none of the 4 are rugby fans) so it just shows anyone can join, get a few extra forms and encourage people at work!

You need more fans , not fans paying more money

Would think we need both. The Lottery can be a way to bring in new fans and get them interested. Get in among workmates and people who generally have not been down the shay brings in more income from a different group of people rather than just fans.

None fans are often better than fans in lotteries as they don't quit when the team is doing poor they are oblivious and just keep going anyway.

yer we need a few more through the gates but we are doing better, I keep saying it but the new stand will help big time imo

A Grand Final will really kick things off.

We obviously need more fans, however how many lottery members do we have? Is it around the 4000 mark? We don't have this many regular fans and as Matt Calland said, 150 new cashfax members means a new player...so we don't just need new fans to progress do we?

Everyone can do there bit...lots of people like playing the lottery and you don't have to care about Halifax RLFC to play a lottery

I hope you are right about the new stand fetching in more income but I have reservations. I hope the council do not price us out of useing the stadium as has hapened at Leigh and Donny.For some reason we are still paying more rent than the Wendyballers even though they play more than twice the games and I`d hate to think what we will be charged for shop rent etc. Leigh have given up their shop in the stadium now so having new stadiums is not the be all and end all I`m afraid.It`s how it will be run that is important, rather than be charged an excessive amount for the shop for instance I would just let Roger Harvey carry on selling stuff and save the rent.
