Personally, I think it is pointless trying to predict anything. Taking Fax alone, we are capable of winning, or losing, them all.

It's come to the "business end" of the season and it don't matter how desperate Batley are. Surely if we're serious about winning the GF we've got to up the tempo and beat the likes of Batley.

I also note that our 3 rivals have far tougher run ins. If we don't finish top then we're not good enough .... and before anyone starts getting their knickers in a twist screaming I'm slagging the lads off ... I'm not, I'm just stating a fact.

agree 100%. and have been sayin it for weeks.. with our run in compared to widnes and barrow. and the position in the league we are at the minute.
and lets not 4get the squad and the capabilities of the team we have, if we dont finish top and get to the GF we have blown it and dont deserve to be there...simple!

The truth is that there are a lot more twists and turns to come this season. There have been plenty of unpredictable results already.

Good point. I stared at the Table with great intrigue recently. If a team has a horror run they could very well be nudged well and truly out of the way .... we SHOULD be OK, but the windies are vulnerable.

Just noticed that if we lose to Widnes and Fev and Whitehaven win (all quite possible) it could leave Fax and Widnes on 35 points (although I would be gutted if we didn't even get a bonus point) and Barrow, Fev and Whitehaven on 33. How tight is that?

I don't care about how any other team is doing, we just need to win our games and we'll win the league, easier said than done, but we are in the position to concentrate on only ourselves now.

Now is the time for this team to show us ALL that they are as good as we think they are.
Something we have seen for about 70% of games this season and rarely for the full 80 mintues.

I can see Fax getting full Points against Leigh and Toulouse, the other fixtures are very close to call.

Fax should be taking one game at a time. We all maybe got sucked in to how things went in Toulouse and thought we could just turn p and get a win at home to Fev. Each team is well capable of beating us and we ned to make sure just because we win at Widnes that we do not think the job is done. If we win-then I hope the forum is not full of we are going to win this and that. One game means nothing in this league. the aim should be Finish Top. Win the play off game to go straight to the grand final and then win that. Before then no more BS talk from any Coaches, players or fans. We open our gobs and then get the words shoved down our throats. Our time to gloat will be AFTER we have won silverware.

Can't argue with any of that.

I still haven't forgiven Matt Calland for his infamous "Country Mile" comment which, in my opinion, we have subsequently suffered for as it was a bigger motivational pep-talk for the rest of the clubs than their own coaches could ever have given.
