Sam denied the allegations last night saying they were totally untrue and that he has more respect than that.

Ive said numerous times theres not a chance that if he did it then it would be missed because of all the cameras. So if nothing comes of it we can safely say that theres been a few porkies told. I mean its not like the cameras missed Daryl Powell squaring up to Dane Manning after the game is it?

I can't see the police getting involved over the Barlow spitting allegation unless there is some solid evidence he has done something wrong.

If they were to, it could become very tit for tat as if they were to act over that then Powell's actions could also attract complaints.

So when you say spat he didnt actually hit anyone, I mean thats a long distance shot to hit the crowd? We have fev fans saying he spat over women and children which cant be true then can it. The more conflicting views that we see from people you have to start thinking that its a lot less likely that it happened. We have heard reports of bottles been thrown as well and tbh if someone threw a bottle at me I wouldnt be that calm either. But like I say it will be on CCTV so the Fev fan who threw the bottle will be easily picked out and actions will be taken. Thats if it all happened obviously.

I won't comment on this again but I will say I hope that your club and the RFL deal with Barlow appropriately and the programme that was on the field if thrown by a fev fan was on camera and our club deal with him appropriately there is nothing more that can be done

So why dont you put in a complaint then? You saw it, it will be on cctv because all cctv would have been working and it does cover the pitch. I dont have a problem with how Powell acted. End of an emotional game he thought his team would win. His team played poorly and made some poor decisions. He probably was not a happy bunny. He is human and as a human, liable to not think clearly at times and make mistakes etc. No harm done and am sure is wishing he could go back and maybe do things differently. He still is a quality coach and one I respect. His team are still a quality team and one that could easily have won on Sunday if things had gone their way a bit more. Instead of fans making a meal of things on what Sam Barlow or Daryll Powell allegedly said or did just let it go. Its not important. Banter is OK but sometimes this bitching is over the top.

Re the bottles, they were handing the beer bottles out over the counter for a while, til the ratty woman (anyone who used the bar down the side will know who i mean) suddenly realised they weren't meant to and produced more pint pots.
