I wont be making any bold predictions like the Barrow lot but im quite confident about next weekend. With Morrison now back and Pickersgill/Grayshon/Hall on board we will be a much stronger unit.

but we are still halifax and are the same team that has beaten you on numorous occations this season.

Ah...but we aren't the same team you beat earlier this year. You may win, but you will have to be better than the in last game against us.

Fair dos, I thought Barrow would sneak that game, so a good performance from Fax.

Like you were for the Leigh game? What was the bold statement you made before that game? I forget.....

Moving back on topic, I thought yesterdays game was a fantastic advert for our division, it was blatantly clear it was a 1st v 2nd game and it was pulsating, exciting and tense up until the last hooter.

Yes our defence was poor at times but Barrow should not be underestimated, they look to have a great team spirit and worked for each and every one of their team mates. Plus it added to a nervous finale, give me those sort of games than 76-0 any day of the week.

It was a great warm up for next week as Calland as he said in the Courier was not happy with way we clocked off early and we will go into the game next week completely focused to dismantle Widnes once more. I doubt we would have been like that if we had banjoed Barrow yesterday.

Barrow proved again that they are a very good side. As for Widnes Vickingman as a right to be confident next weeks game will be very, very tough.

Of course he HAS a right to be confident. I am always confident about our teams ability, even every game in our last season in Superleague I went to each game feeling "today is our day", but alas it wasnt.

I think this is going to be a lot tougher than our last meetings, and I think we have to be at our best to get the result.
