Sheffield shouldnt be threatening Sue Barlow, whats she done wrong, that Aston is bang out of order.

Yeah supposedly the rfl have ok'd him to play, lets hope that is the case and not have another ostick scenario. In a way if the rfl say theres nothing in the deal that stops him playing then i cant see how sheffield would have a leg to stand on if they took legal action against him.

If it was me i wouldnt risk playing him and have another admin failure, we have already been booted out of one competition this season, plus we dont want sheffield to stop being our feeder club

This is how it happened.

1. Barlow decided he wanted out of the Eagles and made a massive song and dance, said he wouldn't play for the club anymore etc
2. Barlow contacted Fax and said he wanted to go there
3. Aston said to Fax 'you can have him if you pay the value of the remainder of his contract', which amounted to several thousand pounds
4. Fax have no money, so refused
5. To get a deal done, Aston said Barlow could go on the proviso that he didn't play against Sheffield for Fax this year
6. Fax and Barlow both agreed to this

So Aston is within his rights, and perfectly correct.

I'd play him if I were you. He'll end up getting sent off anyway. He's a wind-up merchant who can't take it when the opposition winds him up.

Sheffield probably procure more income from grants and sponsors than any other club in our league. They are excellent in that department and continue with a robust soucing of such income.
Regardless of crowds, they can indeed offer excellent training/physio facilities and have a good business plan from income streams the envy of many championship clubs.
