I know we have to pay Gene but I'd rather not risk a home tie against anyone thank you.

It we play to our strengths there's no reason we can't win. Having said that, Fev at home after finishing top of the pile well clear of anyone else should rightly be favourites.

no - we lost that night cos we didn't play well throughout the game - we lost it ourselves over 80 mins not through a single incident.

Some blame the ref, tho he wasn't perfect the players gave the best assessment of that night. They just didn't stick to a game plan - and we lost by a whole 2 points!!!

Never predicted the score of a game before and not about to start now, but i reckon the crowd will be around 1,600, and i predict Rovers to get some begging buckets out for a collection to improve our in-adequate floodlights, at the ground WE own, but then leave the lights and spend the said collected money on players for next season.

Personally, I can't see more than a 2,100 crowd given our average over the season. Hope its a good game and may the best team win.

I think a lot depends on which Fax turns up on the night. The bad one and we will get hammered the good one and it will be a great game. Gonna go for a good Fax and a crowd of 3000 mostly us.

We make too many simple defensive errors to keep Fev out and they are experts at slowing the game down and spoiling our play. Ultimately I think it comes down to which coach is the smarter. Each time we have played Fev this year their game plan has been better executed than ours - we end up playing their game rather than our own.

Having said that I reckon we could turn them over in the final

Last years crowd at Fax in the play off was reported as only 100 mmore than the league game!!!!!







Now I am not and never will try and explain 'rovers' posts. He's a big boy and can do that himself if he can be @rsed! But I'm kind of guessing that his predicted published crowd of 1600 may have some roots in his (and mine tbh) scepticism of fax's published crowd last year! - but again, I could be talking abject bol_lox!!
One fax poster suggested that they had 'home advantage' and as such fax reported the gate - with the inference on 'the home crowd gets the perks'!!!

For what it's worth I thought I was announced wrongly simply because it seemed as busy in our stand and the Skircoat seated area as usual (i.e 2,200 odd) but then there was 600 odd Fev fans in the other stand. It did seem as though they forgot to add the Away stand on last year. Sinister? Maybe/Maybe not. Natural in Rugby League? Definitely.

I'd be suprised if Fax didn't take in the region of 1,000 to Fev though. 800 standing and 200 sat somewhere.
