Don't worry Midge , its just what my Daughters told me , ive never stayed there , they could be wrong , and you are only going to sleep there , if you are happy what you have paid , then who am I to knock it .You will be there at Blackpool , that's all that matters .

I booked yesterday at the Carousel , I have stayed there before and it was ok as we had the grandchildren with us but it must be about 5/6 yrs ago however not sure what it`s like now but seems ok . The price was coming up £68 online but rang the hotel direct and was quoted £60 ....result ,they do have rooms still available as well.

I have stayed at the Carousel on 3 occasions , I think it is now owned by New Proprieters ,a big Hotel with entertainment , I prefer the South Shore end when staying in Blackpool .

I prefer the really South of Blackpool, Liverpool! Honestly, Blackpool makes Mixenden look posh! I think a day trip on't train for us. Rat & Rat, shudds. White Rat 4.0% Mmm!

You'll have a great stay, there is a bar and restaurant in the hotel.
Never mind the snobs, if it's good enough for Mrshalifaxjohn it's good enough for royalty.

Like Hudd Shay I will try and make it a day trip subject to k/o & Train times,the thought of staying in Chav City overnight is not appealing

Mick , you know I would give you and your Good lady a lift anywhere , get the Week-end booked , I always take Mrs Caroli with me on away trips , as its saves me having to kiss her Good-bye
