ShayFax should really pay a visit to Specsavers, Gorski and Netherton how can you possibly judge on the appearances they made, or the team Netherton played in. Even Moxon, he turned out every week when we had no better, yes he is no superstar but he gave 100% and thats a lot more than some not mentioned.

Mike Peters, a really good prospect when he was coming through the ranks at Wigan but went a bit crap. Probably a bit early but Danny Ellison was along the same lines.

Ok some of my choices may be iffy, i was struggling lol. But anyone who thinks Finnerty and Dorahy were good really needs to check the definition of good in the dictionary. Finnerty was the worst tackler i have ever seen at the club, he made Shad look like Steve Hampson under the high ball. Going forward he just looked plain scared to get tackled. Dorahy didnt even have the respect of his fellow players. I remeber him coming off in a game against Wigan when we were getting tonked and the players who wernt playing joking that he would be fit enough to make Jaks and saying he was a waste of time.

This thread is gonna cause some trouble me thinks

Cant see how Finnerty, Billings, Morley and Brambani get even near our worst team. Ok they were not the best but they were not poor. There are many circumstances surrounding certain players as how we may not have seen the best of them........but nyrxxxxxxnnnyzzz thingy and Seuseu were crap IMO!!!

Nyrinx ?? and Seu Seu would accept in any worst team, the rest look at the team , coach ? what you saw was what you got.

I think you're the one that needs to go to Specsavers. . . have a read about my prior comments with littlerich. Then you'll (hopefully) see that I accept not all the players in the 17 I named were that bad.

Flowers was OK once we played him in his proper position.

Dorahy was quality for us while he was on trial, once he got his contract he looked like he couldn't be d.

Karle Hammond was a good'un for us, he understandably went off the boil after his Dad died.

That lot and maybe add Phil Cantillon - what a big disappointment he was.

Holgate and Flowers? Holgates only problem when he played for us was that he was totally off his head. On the field i remember him been quite good. Great tackler. Phil Hassan was ok and is not allowed in purley for THAT tackle on Wobbie.

Finnerty was actually pretty decent going forward, his defence was shocking though. Phil Hassan (or the Turkinator) as we called him should not be ni that too, he got player of the year at Leeds if I remember, those TWO tackles v radford were awsome. Dane "steal a living" Neerinxx was the worst player ever to play for the club, he must have touched the ball twice a game if that and when the ball came down his side his hands went on his knees.

Seu Seu showed glimpes but was way below fitness levels required, kind of like a dana wilson. Dana Dorohy was a good little un too when he first started for us but went downhill rapidly.

Peter Coyne and Dan Stains, that aussie centre, the bald one, lanky, Hetherington I think were all below par.

I know we are going way off piste here Waddy but are you talking about Lindsay Johnson and Martin Meredith (break a leg in first tackle, first touch if ball v Saints!!) - I also remember a giant of a man from South Africa who came over called Clint?? - Huge guy who had a huge kick and only thing he did was score winning try v Oldham in his only 1st team game only to vanish, never to be seen again. I also thought David Holmes was pretty pants!! Plus many more over the years!

Didnt we get Holmes from Sheffield RU? He could pass a ball miles iirc, didnt think he was all that bad. Meredith, signed as a stand off, played on wing & was run ragged by Wigan at Wembley!

Dean Lawford would be in the worst team in my opinion along with Danny Arnold and Damien Munroe.

David Homes did a a job for us, Lindsey Jonston was crap.

If Phil Hassan gets anywhere near this team its an absolute joke. He completely destroyed Robbie Paul when he was at his best, and he was probably the best option we had at that time
