The guy still owes the club A LOT of money following his 'Lord Lucan' act - FACT.
I find these quips about 'brown envelopes' and the like pretty childish TBH. You have no clue what terms the Barrow players are on - indeed you have no clue what the clubs' turnover is either. Unless the RFL find something untoward (which they won't), then there are no grounds for these comments at all.
Whatever else happens this year, we finsihed top of the league and got to the NR Cup final. Get used to it. And this is just the start - we'll be stronger next year.'"

That was my original topic.
The topic was as a result of an article in the Halifax Evening Courier and a "come on" to our team.
Why on earth is that pointless.
You might as well say the whole message board is pointless, as a lot of the posts are of a similar ilk.
There is one called "Des Johnson Interview" what on earth do we want to know what he said?
There is one called "and thursdays merry whistle blower is" this is pointless because we have no say who he is, we just have to accept it.
There is one called "3 coaches" this is pointless as I am going in my car so why would I want to know how many coaches are going
etc. etc. etc.
This IS a message board, available for discussions. You dont want to discuss anything on the thread then dont........  |

We didn't pinch it. You were ahead because we had a bad spell mid-way through the season. Up until then it was nip and tuck.
We scored more points than Fax over the 20 games and therefore won the league on merit.
