Sky website says TBA for 20th and RFL website says Batley/Fax match on 23rd.Anyone contacted the club to seee what they say?

Leigh website still has Fax fixture as 19th.They are in France on the sat 15th so will have very short turnaround before Fax game so would be in their interest for the game to be changed

The Sky fixture for Thursday 20th August will not be chosen by Sky until at least Monday 10th August after this weekends fixtures have been played.

At this moment in time our remaining fixtures are Whitehaven at home Sunday 9th August, Sheffield away on Thursday 13th August, Leigh away on Wednesday 19th August, Batley away on Sunday 23rd August and Toulouse at home on Saturday 5th September.

That is ridiculous. So, i have chosen to take a group of people to the Leigh match on the 19th and it may all be changed by BskyB with 10 days notice? How does that endear me to organise anything like that again for a Rugby League event? Why don't the RFL and all the club Chairmen just bend over the BskyB desk and have done with it?

We also got over 5'000 against Toulouse at home this year

What possible detriment to the club playing on a thursday on TV ?

The benefit is the exposure which enables you to get potential sponsors on board and showcase the greatest game.



It also provides the oppurtunity to show the rest of the chamionship that the Vikings are fookin awesome.
