IMO you are the one with the greatest potential that we have on our books it just sometimes takes RM a while for the penny to drop'"
He has raw potential but still needs a lot of work and has a good number of players in front of him. If he sticks at it though and puts the time in he will do well for us.

| Inspite of the problems at Barrow it will still be a tough game but we should be good enough especially if we can cut out just 50% of the unforced errors.
With Toronto winning against Leigh yesterday a chance to get a 3 point cushion over one of our rivals.

Looks like another jet lagged team (and a very good one at that) put to the sword. Extremely annoying that the Rugby League are bending over backwards for Toronto creating an unfair playing field. They should have intermingled home and away matches like every one else and come over here in the same jet lagged state. I'm sure they wouldn't be running away at the top if that was the case.

I think you're overlooking the fact that they're already over here.
Anyway, jetlag's not the reason teams are losing to Toronto. Recruitment is. They have by far the best squad in the division.

Toronto have not played an away game in the same "jet lagged state" as English teams over there. Unfair playing field.
Also whereas I do agree their squad is the best in our league, they're not "by far" better than Leigh who they were tubbing by 40 until Leigh brought some respectability late on.
The irony about this expansion abroad is that Toronto and Catalans aren't really strengthening the "Canadian" and "French" rugby league, their inclusion in a foreign league is actually weakening "Canadian" and "French" rugby league because these respective countries don't have their strongest teams playing in their own league (if yer get me drift). Toronto and Catalans are essentially English satellite clubs depriving a couple of English clubs a place on our own league(s).

| Why couldn't you lot play Barrow away in Feb when their pitch was a farmers field, recently ploughed. Also they had a full squad of players, and no obvious money problems. you lucky sods !

But they should be playing games in the same sequence as the rest of us, shouldn't they?

In 5 years time, with 200 fans played in a public park in Toronto...? Hang on a minute, we have refs to get them into Super League if needed!
A rotten administration is the reason tens of thousands are walking away from the sport. The young 'uns follow the footy as at least it's fair (unless Old Trafford added time, of course)
RFL won't need to appoint a fixer next week. I'm sure they'll have their best men on it v London & Toulouse!

| No. Halifax as a Town don't have a pot to pi** in. Only a soccer game might get them down the Shay. I'd expect Fev to bring a fair few as they just have got over the millennium bug crisis. Rugby League, a relic of the past. A hard job for any director!

Absoloutley. The men in charge should be working 100% to market this. Everyone in Fax should be down, local clubs bring your lads down and get behind The Fax. Posters in pubs/clubs. The big screen on Market Street An advert on Pulse Radio. Owt to help the lads over the line in this one. Me, what am I going to do? I'm personally going to bring 3/4 lads down that haven't been for years. What about you? Come on! Up The Fax! Brewer's Fayre, Barrow, cider, Aye!

| Typical of Fax lately scoring off the first attacking set only to let the ball bounce around 2 or 3 times straight into Barrow hands from the restart.
Mainly play well then up to half time but come out for the second 40 and conspire towards nearly throwing the game away with a pointless late hit by Fleming and a daft charge down gifting possession away.
Do that against Fev and we could be in trouble.
Crucial try by Moss when the gap was down to 8 and Barrow throwing everything into it.
Apart from Maher being carried off I don’t recall seeing Grix back on in the second half.

| Halifax are doing everything right off and on the field, but again, I feel that's not enough to get enough new support through the turnstiles.
You can only aim at the wealthy, or a fast shrinking middle-class, or an idiot with a decent credit limit on his CC.

Nah,there's more to Fax than that. RM is doing a great job, I've doubted him at times, but I think we're where we are are due to everyone at Fax doing their bit. Come on!

For the same group of players to produce some quality rugby and then regularly go missing for 20 minutes per game conceding x number of unanswered points is like watching 2 completely different sides in the same match.
We got away with against Fev at Blackpool when Gaz Hoch just failed to ground the ball, we didn’t get away with it at Leigh and we opened the door for Barrow today.
All I am saying is that with Fev, Toulouse and London coming up keep playing like that, getting the result worries me.

| Good first half and poor second half where we switched off to make a game of it. Irelevant though as any win was going to be enough to take u in to next week knowing exactly what we need to do. Ive got a good feeling we can beat our home Fev hoodoo.

| Usual Fax roller coaster ride in the game. Looked really good at times then just have individuals having massive brain farts at crucial times. We also need to realise we don't need to score of every play. Build pressure, respect possesion, and then look to capitalise. Better teams over the next 3 weeks will punish us for sure. Thought Johno was great today and great to see him taking some pressure off Murrell in the halves. Grix is also class in the middle with distribution and poses problems. Barrow have only lost a couple of times at home in the last couple of season so happy to come away with a win. Good luck to them in their fundraising quest to keep their club afloat.

| Hudd-Shay, put your idea to the BoD, or Marketing Director, secretary of a club contacts them, brings 10 people ,(boys, girls, men, women) the get in for a couple of quid, won't add much to the gate take cash wise, but with add on from food and drink ( do they get a cut?) , will bring atmosphere, give away some of those cheap bangers for the kids to make a noise, probably too late though should have been doing this weeks ago. Bit like the titanic shouting iceberg after it tore a hole in the side of it.

| If anyone in a position to do something reads this site then maybe an advert in the courier, if anyone gets it anymore or a local radio blast, word of mouth will take too long, however Hudd-Shay your correct better late than never.
