Exactly ricardo and if it’s obvious to us and a neutral spectator what’s wrong but not to the coach I really do start to worry and despair.
I’ve said it time and time again about our pack, the second row usually put in a good shift.
The front row make no impact and yesterday we had the 2 starting props and 3 more on the bench.
Against Swinton it was only when it became desperado time and Simon Grix started to run the ball in hard in the last 10 minutes as a prop / forward should do that Fax got anything from the game.

Things I noticed yesterday.

1. Our passing is still poor and so slow, player has to either stop, jump or twist backwards to catch it.
2. No player seems to catch the ball running onto it.
3. We let teams up at the play the ball too quick.
4. We have 2 halfbacks who don't run.
5. A former winger outplayed our halfbacks.
6. Forwards just no oomph at all.
7. We get out enthused at everything.
8. Doesn't seem to be players running at angles giving the ball carrier options. When York had the ball there was players everywhere running giving the ball carrier options.
9. We are so predictable in attack. One up rugby or scoot or at best ball passed down the line with no 2nd phase coming in or creating options and hesitation in the defence.
10. We still think a 5 minute one man run-around is a good tactic, last seen in the 90's in the Workshops competition.
11. Maybe the advantages of Murrell don't outweigh the disadvantages now.
12. The pies were decent!

I wasn’t there yesterday so cannot comment too much on the game although by the highlights some of the tries conceded looked woeful.

One massive thing that no one seems to be mentioning which is definitely contributing to our downfall - fitness.

We look unfit in all areas - cardvascular and muscular.

People talk of a high penalty count against us each game... why is that? Because we cannot get back onside, we’re losing the ruck, we’re tired and making mistakes.

We completed our sets well against Dewsbury which meant ultimately didn’t defend as much. Therefore masks the real problem.

The first season we had Andy Hollyhead (conditioner) we looked fit from the off.

Every season since that, we have got better as the season goes on... as we have got fitter.

Just a point, probably too late to start doing Shibden hills on a Tuesday evening now but I bet it would make a huge difference if we were fitter.

Thought York played well, as they have all season beating Leigh at home and Bradford away most people thought they were going to be easy beats.

You are right they played well and we have no devine right to win every game but given last season I would at least expect us to be competing with both York and Fev and not scraping home against two poor teams in Batley and Swinton.

Ashton Golding, Luke Briscoe, Camron Smith, Daniel Smith, Ben Reynolds, Jack Ormondroyd (plus Calum Turner from Cas & Tom Holmes from Hudds). Mockery.

SingaporeFax , might be the case of the Giants and Cas lads being a season long loan, still taking the P1 $$ you name 8 there, 67% of the mach day squad not signed to the club.
Until the RFL grow a pair and sort D/R out and letting some chairmen and clubs run (ruin) the game that is life as we know it, seems either join in or get left behind.

The RFL are the servants of the clubs. If the clubs don't vote to get rid of dual registration, it won't happen.

In discussions like this, it's important to get the facts right.

The other 5 are loans or DR and as such, we are fully compliant with the rules. Turner and Holmes did not feature in the matchday squad and are not relevant.

Please stop crying about it. The opportunity exists just as equally for your club. If you choose not to legally enhance your matchday squad, that's your issue. Not Fev's. Not The RFL's.

I'll take the on JO. Thought he was still a Leeds player. Either way, was trying to illustrate the our sustainability of the Fax structure, averse to isation of Fev with 7/8 players who don't even belong to you.

Regardless of DR and what Fev or any other clubs do in that area it has nothing to do with the fact Fax are still playing like horse poo, but at least you can put that on your roses!!

York looked well coached. Mobile halfbacks and passing that was spot on.

Pete , I have the utmost respect for you and your views,and think in the long run you are right , however some Clubs, my own Leigh for instance are using the DR to our advantage very well.

For me anyone who pulls on a Leigh shirt is a Leigh player it doesn’t matter who his parent Club is.Danny Richardson kicked 7goals on Sunday, it went on the scoreboard as 14 points for Leigh,so he is a Leigh player.In an ideal world you are 100 per cent right, but we are not living in ideal world.

Fact of the matter is, DR is available and teams are using it to win games.

would you take 3/4 cas players if it meant that you win week in week out...............because i would.

Winning is winning, and if we cant do it with our team, then we need to do it with someone elses

I agree totally with everything you say,I think most fans would if they were being honest,I think the majority of fans don’t agree with DR , but accept that if the 2 points are gonna be made they will accept them.

Can we DR a team for the first 20 minutes then use our players from then on, we seem to be OK after that time.

Not at York we weren't. Had a 5-10min spell midway through 2nd half..... then back to normal

And there in lies the problem, which means it will not go away (with the Chairperson's being the biggest fans of all in this context).
