Very good and important question which I'd ask both Richard and Andy. In addition you could maybe ask Richard how he intends to sell a new fitness and diet regime to players who are part time (other than the carrot and stick method).

Could Richard give us a bit of background regarding the 3 Aussies that are coming over.

Given that KH signed them he probably knows as much as you and I from what we have seen from video available of them. I do believe that Tamgata did get named as player of the year and the other prop got players player so thats no bad thing.

I wonder if Richard could tell us about the performance rating system that he uses so players know why they are in or out compared to KH's make a couple of mistakes or face does not fit method of picking teams.

HJ ....Big point from tonight's meeting, RM said if it benefited Halifax we would consider going DR and that it was 50/50. Sat in Dirty Dicks absolutely infuriated. If it happens I am gone after 55 years of supporting Fax. ELB Pale Ale. 4.0% Mmm!

I know what you mean I don't like DR and have never agreed with it BUT with us not having the budget of the 3 full time teams plus Fev what choice have we got this next season?
Sadly I think we have to look at DR to compete and as long as we do it right I can live with it, its the price we have to pay for missing out on that 2nd spot last season.

I'm not sure DR adds anything to a squad apart from resentment from current squad members and complete apathy from those coming in from other clubs. Building a squad isn't just about making up numbers. It's about teamwork, togetherness and pride. I just don't see how a DR system can provide that.

I think I'd prefer to finish 5th under our own steam rather than 3 rd with DR then be struggling next year. Let's build an honest Fax squad rather than play some Players for a team that has signed more than they need.

To be honest it all down to e management by the RFL again.

All I can say to put my point of view forward is I would rather be relegated with a team of Halifax players than 'succeed' with a team that isn't Halifax. How low can we go? We are Halifax RLFC. I can't believe after what happened with DR last season we are even discussing this.
