Bit surprised but not disappointed we've gone without dual reg this week - based the highlights I saw of Londons game anything less than a convincing win would be a bit of a disaster. I liked the look of Aston and Keyes in the halves against Wakefield and would probably give Jouffret a game at fullback. I hope Brandon only plays if fully fit, Simon admits we knackered him last year playing him when injured, and he didn't look quite right last week, although he had that in common with half the team. I'm sure he'll bring Fairbank back, and probably Garside, although I wouldn't have a problem with Calcott on the bench.

I think I will wait to see the teams . Anything like 50% possession and fax backs will win the day hopefully .

What a waste that is he looked lively to me at salford in the second half and would of been playing last week and this week for me. I still do not understand why we let walker leave stating we didn't need another out and out fullback which on the face of it is fare enough but then we bring in martin who is a fullback but not as good as walker. And know liam as left this time with woodburn-hall out should of been his chance to shine.

So from the 21 man squad announced there are no players from huddersfield in this week i think simon said that would be the case until they play there first league game next week. I would drop martin this week he is steady overall but was out of position on a number of occasions last week.

You’ve highlighted something that hasn’t been discussed yet , Lachlan walmsey , as of yet he hasn’t lived up to his reputation of being a potential super league player , he looked shaky at fb against Wakefield, didn’t do much against Salford and him and McComb against Batley looked defensively lightweight, I’d actually agree with your selection based on form alone and it’ll be interesting to see grixs’ 17 .

Imo Lachlan has been the weakest of all the new signings, if he offers in attack what he did for Whitehaven last season then his defensive frailties can be ignored, he has offered nothing in attack so far and if you watch the Batley game back you will see one of them ‘ silly ‘ mistakes is walmsley stepping into the attacking line ‘ off the cuff ‘ and wood trying to offload to his forward , it hits walmsley in the face gifting Batley the ball back , he’s trying too hard needs to relax and it will come, I would recommend he has a high protein diet and does some heavy weights has he’s too slight at the moment props could do with 7 to 14 pound of muscle putting on .

Also a little hard for Walmsley to look good when he has a winger playing inside him. I think he will look a lot better once Worthington is back fit. Playing outside a quality centre can make a huge difference to a wingers game.
