A Full-Time "Professional" Rugby Club begging for use of a university's facilities, its embarrassing for them.

So it would seem the Eagles want to play all their home games on Fridays. Right to their advantage that one in a predominantly amateur league. How are they allowed to get away with that?

And does that shed they are playing in even have floodlights?

Tubs and the Sheffield board are trying to create an intimate and exclusive atmosphere at their ground this coming season, don't knock it till you try it.

Its nothing to do with getting an advantage, it genuinely is to do with availability of the field. You'll find most Eagles fans are as annoyed as you are, especially the ones who have bought season tickets assuming it would be Sunday.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but have you seen their away kit...

Indeed, I know a couple of elderly supporters who bought season tickets but won't be able to use them. It's far from ideal.

Are the full time contracts just Monday - Friday on a standard 35-40 hour week? Is this the reason they can't play on a weekend or is it on religious grounds?

Ah, I've just looked at the ground. Tbh, not a seat in sight from what I can see. and the view you get standing depends how tall you are (mind you, Wakefield ain't much better). Think I'll give 'em a ring and ask where they're putting the seats!!

It might be "temporary", but for an extra £2 it might be worth it to at least have a bit of elevation to see the game? After the middle 8's debacle at Sheffield, we owe them one, and every bit of support we can give is important. We should have more there than the Eagles, but we need to make sure we're heard and become that so, so, important 18th man...
