Don't the RFL compensate the home club for this though?

| MADE MY AFTERNOON READING ALL THAT!
STADIUM DESIGNS QUALITY!
ODSAL IS AN AWEFUL GROUND FOR WATCHING RUGBY AT, I KNOW THE SHAYS CAPASITY IS ALOT LESS, BUT IF YOU ASK ANY RL FAN WHERE THEY WOULD PREFER TO TRAVEL TO, THEY WOULD SAY THE SHAY!
I KNOW OF BULLS FANS THAT HATE WATCHING RUGBY AT ODSAL!
MY PREDICTION IS THAT THE NORTH TERRACE WILL BE OPEN FOR THIS, THE FUNDING FOR WHATEVER WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE HAS BEEN GRANTED, THEY JUST NEED TO DO IT....AND THE GAMES NOT FOR ANOTHER 7 WEEKS!
7 WEEKS FOR FAX TO MARKET THE HELL OUT OF IT HOPEFULLY. IF OUR NEW MARKETING GUY TONY WANTS TO PROVE HIMSELF, THIS IS THE STAGE TONY.
IF THEY CANT GET THE INTEREST FOR THIS, THERES NO HOPE.
I HOPE FOR 7-8000....PROB 4500 BULLS ON A FREE, AND THE 3500 WE TOOK TO WIRE FOR THE GF.
CANT WAIT!

Just wondering what this means mate. Could you please explain to us? Hypothetical refers to the following
1. Of, relating to, or based on a hypothesis: a hypothetical situation. See Synonyms at theoretical.
2.
a. Suppositional; uncertain. See Synonyms at supposed.
b. Conditional; contingent.
n.
A hypothetical circumstance, condition, scenario, or situation: OK, let's consider this possibility thenjust as a hypothetical.
Thanks. I look forward to seeing what Hypofetically means

| The reality is your ground is going to be taken over by Bull's fans and your team are going to be knocked out of the cup. All in all, a not so good draw for Halifax after all !

Cheapskate Bulls fans with free tickets I wonder how many of the great loyal Bradford fans would pay to watch this game? What made me laugh was the article in the League express saying beacause of a great marketing campaign Bradford Bulls sold 11,000 season tickets what it forgot to mention is they practically gave them away. So jog on you Si

Actually its 11,000 adult tickets, with OAP, Students and Childrens tickets your looking at between 13 - 14,000! Allowing for the fact I am using the minimum prices here this is what bradford have got;
£99 to sit down in the cheap seats, its practically full but for arguements sake probably about 3,000 adults thats a minimum of £297,000.
8,000 in the stands at £60 giving you £480,000.
As a minimum students / oaps and kids have paid a minimum of £45, which if 2,500 bought these giving £90,000.
Thats £889,500 as a minimum bulls have got from this, I would guess its probably about £1 million if you factor in the actual costs! Without the extra merchandise, food and beer in the ground!
Not a bad marketing strategy really when you look at 4,000 season ticket holders last year - 3,000 adults and 1000 kids / students etc at £160 average you are looking at about £550,000. Nearly doubled our revenue for triple the crowd, drinks and merchandise revenue!

| We as the home team are compensated tor the free tickets used by Bradford, by the rfl. I'm not sure to what extent, but I'm sure an email to rfl operations would give you the answer everyone is guessing at.
I now remember bulls fans... two letters to the rfl stand out in my mind which perfectly demonstrate the single minded, parochial, caisleyistic mindset of our friends from brighouse.
Firstly, a 'heiffer' complaining that Halifax fans were singing 'if you all hate Bradford clap your hands' during the 20-20 kneegate...she promised never to set foot in the shay again...one can only hope foot and mouth saw to her.
Secondly, a Bradford 'fan' complaining that he could not a get a cup final ticket, because of all the neutral hangers-on preventing real (pot chasing, glory hunting, shallow wastes of skin) Bradford fans seeing their team in the final...they had to dedicate an 8 page pull out to all the letters received in response.
Bloody bulls

Well tax is an obvious taken , printing costs ? Not huge with today's technology
This ST initiative might work for them , and others might follow , as long as they get the 1.2 million as well they should be fine

No, because I have no figure to work that out! I have compared the 2 incomes generated from just season ticket sales, as Starbug pointed out.
The stadium is always fully open regardless of whether we play leeds or catalans along with all the turnstiles! I would guess it would be few more behind the bars and possibily stewards. But if we always opened up the whole of the stadium I would think that the stewards on the whole would be covered anyway for most games.
Printing the tickets, well its a membership card, and probably come in the teamcard deal but it would be less than £1 in my experience of procuring similar items at a volume of other 5,000! We would pay tax regardless, more money we bring in, the higher the tax bill will be yes, but it all swings in roundabouts. 10,000 adults was a figure for a reason at £60 standing and £99 sitting, we have got 1,000 above that and then adding in some of us paying for 5 - 25 yr season tickets from £500 - £15,000 i think the club isn't doing bad!

My point was that they only sold the amount of season tickets they have because they was cheap now they go on like they are the best supported team ever and that they should be given the god given right to have 11,000 free tickets for this cup tie thats why some of them think the game should be moved to Odsal but this is a cup tie and they have been drawn away and thats the magic of the cup am I right? Where was the 11,000 fans at Dewsbury in the 4th round last season? How many tickets would they sell for this tie if it was not free? Loyal to the core aint they.

They have taken a business decision , just like many people do all the time
Yesterday a customer of mine questioned a price I had given them , my answer was , " I have two choices , I price stuff too expensive and go bust through lack of work , or I price stuff too cheap and go bust through lack of profit "
Good choice eh
