Barlow has not signed anything for anyone = Fact!

Wasn't Barlow tipped for S/L last year Dont know how he been this year for you but the way he played Sunday it wouldn't of done him any harm for a potential S/L contract

As for Tonka signing until end of this season for you has allowed alot of people to spread rumours and time will tell but he may be waiting to see if another contract comes his way

What ever happens they will do what's best for them just hope if they were to go into S\L they are not put in there reserves then loaned out to a championship club because they may as well stop in the competitive league and allow fans like us watch them every week

Said Fax signing up big names. Thought we'd only announced re- signed players so far.
He either knows something we don't, or he actually rates our current squad highly!

Powell is obsessed with Fax. We've denied him 2 trophy's and he spat his dummy out on both occasions. Of course he rates us.

Unless he knows your signing some of ours ? we are being told we are looking for 5 for next season,someone has to go I guess.

Sounds like we have some good signings in the pipeline but Powell is probably upset that he offered a couple of our players more money to play for Fev and they both turned him down. Powell`s lack of respect to our players certainly has cost him in this instance.

Maybe your looking for 5 because 1 or 2 have decided to leave?

Probably to do with offering Barlow a very good championship contract then Halifax giving him even more By the way I don't blame the player (s) they want the most they can get and if they are playing the clubs off against one another that the clubs faults for falling for it

Well done on the league leaders shield fully deserved Fev are still the most consistent team in the division.
What a good season this has been with some cracking games and still plenty more to come.

What bothers me about all this Powell business is, tonight he should ( and probably still is ) have been celebrating a great achievement by Fev on winning a 3rd consecutive league title win and bloody well done to them for that but he chose to single us out for "spending a lot of money on players for next season". I don't like that quote, Barlow definately showed some loyalty to his hometown club, supporters, sponsors & family, not to mention the staff, players, B.O.D. & coaches at Halifax RLFC by turning down some ridiculous offers from Powell's employers, that has gotta hurt !
He wants to concentrate on matters & players in his group from what I'm hearing, this season isn't finished with yet & I hope he has another Kevin Keegan moment like he did when Rhino spooked him at Blackpool.

Yep great league been a pleasure watching some great teams,keep s/l for me.

The DP N Rhino thing is getting a bit sad now if you ask me,,,I dont care what either of them say as long as they turn out a side that competes and gives value for money to the fans.

I can sit and miss quote them both till the cows come home but at the end of the day neither one of them are bigger than the club and its fans. Just because they both seem to think they are fergie and murhinio makes me chuckle





What I do know is that they are both top coaches and will go onto bigger and better things one day

So is that the story Fev are putting out? Powell never one to let the truth get in the way of a good story.
