Come on we have been through hell all through your Golden era so to be your 'equals' is amazing to long suffering fans like me, we beat a club who have 2 to 3 times our support, 3 times our budget (at least probably 4 times) and are still the 'darlings' of the media is FANTASTIC.

To the club, players, staff and the gaffer......simply thank you.

Have to confess its the first match I"ve been to this season as I now live 2 hours away, but had to be there today. What a fantastic game, well done to everyone at the club, coach, players and fans it felt like old times today. Its time the club had some luck and I hope all the hard work will pay off in the end on and off the field. I might not be there in person every week but certainly in spirit.
Once again well done thoroughly enjoyed it.

Let's not get to carried away can't imaginen the Bulls were going at full tilt as it was a meaning less game for them really can't see you getting anywhere near the top four in the playoffs think you will finish were the bookies have you bottom.

Meaningless my ar£e, the Fax forwards went out to dominate that game and they did it. Bulls came back well in the 2nd half but the boys stuck at it and deserved the win.

No sour grapes here pal we won the league again yesterday and beat you lot twice on the way
so nothing to be sour about were fax are concerned.

You may well be correct, but if we finish eighth in the middle eights, it's still been a successful season for us and I for one am happy that we will have the chance to play the bottom four Superleague teams. Each game now is our cup final, and you never know - we may pick up the odd win or two.

All the Leigh fans i know are good lads but there's allus one isn't there?

Very sore head this morning and glad I took the day off! What a fantastic way to end the regular season-long time between drinks beating the Bulls! 9 games on the trot we have won now and just look to be buzzing. Brilliant atmosphere yesterday created by both sets of fans. Getting in the middle 8's was a huge achievement for Fax on such a small budget and small player pool compared to the others in it. Anything else now is a bonus and I, like the players have been instructed bt RM, will just enjoy the games for what they are.We aren't ready for SL yet. Leigh look best bet for a Championship side to give it real go.

It's going to be tough in those middle eights but you can't buy team spirit i'm sure we'll pick up a good win or two. Well played lads on a superb season so far!

Dave I'm so happy for you and the rest of the Fax fans , your team are on fire at the moment and although I don't think you will make SL this time around ,I DO think you beat a couple of teams in the 8's ,though I hope it's not Leigh

Thanks Ian. Looks like there will be some cracking games to look forward to in the play off's. We should get a true barometer of how wide the gap is between best of Championship and worst of SL over the 7 games.

Ian, if as you say we have improved 2/3 fold you gobblers should be very worried, as we haven't been far off you on our two previous meetings. A great game and atmosphere down The Shay yesterday with more to come no doubt. Hope you are on the mend and we will see you soon.

Pete you know I never take teams like Fax for granted ,both our games this season were close , we again got a fortunate bounce of the ball at the LSV to score the deciding try,and although I haven't seen Fax play recently ,I have read your match reports with interest and know you are a quality side.As you say we no doubt will each other again soon at the Shay , although your Mr Jagger has given Frank a bit of stick , but it's just Banter , and we Leythers love that.I'm feeling great now ,see you soon.Ian.
