i hope not as we are on the Thursday before, there is nothing on the sky website,
and i also have a table booked in the Harvey's restaurant and my boy is the Mascot

They're the fixtures. I think Fev could win the title that game so they might go to them for that reason. Otherwise ours looks the 'strongest' fixture as it were.

Fax need the money, put this game on a Thursday night and the crowd will be 30% lower, why should we have two games in two weeks moved to a Thursday night?
plus what about the club and all its sponsors and diners???
Its TOO SHORT NOTICE, Sky have the game by the wotsits and it annoys the hell out of me, they are like Lord and master, yer they pay some money to the Championship clubs but is it really worth it???

Agreed. Widnes are poor but if Sky want to give us a hand to kick their bootys then thats fine by me.

I'm away on hols, so the chance to watch the game on TV would be a real bonus for me - totally selfish, I know!!

That has really Peed me off. Widnes would certainly have brought 500 - 800 on a sunday but now there will only be 2000 for a game that would have attracted 3000 on a Sunday.

I don't think so, it is the CO-OP that pay the home club, I believe around £3 for a TV game as compensation for the loss of gate. Laughable isn't it?

Yes Widnes will be strong as players coming back, at the most important time of the season.They will be fresh unlike teams like fev with not as many injuries.We have two new dual players,and Ben Davies should play more now.Haggerty and Hecky fitter will give us more up front.

I hate Sky, so we now have 2 games changed to Thursday nights within a week with how many weeks notice??? One makes it hard for Fax fans to get to with it being a crucial game for both clubs and the other would have been our biggest gate if played on a Sunday (remember people judge you on your crowds whether falsely inflated or not).
Hey being on TV is a good thing I accept but they should be made to chose the games at more notice and NOT have the same team on in a set period, I would suggest 6 to 8 weeks weeks which is reasonable enough.

Widnes, the champioships equivalent of Audley Harrison. Get to the final of the NRC and now think they are in with a chance of getting to the GF. When reality they are closer to not qualifying for the playoffs then they are of getting a home tie! Although I do envy them going into a final against Batley as the underdogs.
